trigger000
Just because Imageshack is down a couple times for a few hours at a time doesnt mean that it's bad...It's a free hosting site with no limit. Don't take it for granted..

Keiphus
I think one thing that appeals to alot of people about imageshack is the fact that you don't have to register.

You don't have to register for Simpload either :P I'll post a screenshot of it :) Main page: /] and after uploading: /] Superknight/Blademaster: Level 150; Hps: 132Theoretical damage per round: 234Highest recorded damage in one round:

Sunwarriord
simpload? Uh well in your screenshot, it says how long you want your pic to be uploaded. can you keep updating it? or after one year it gets deleted.
Dyronamics
Its the same as for a lot of free image hosts, your stuff gets deleted after a set time or if you dont log in once a month because you're not actually paying for your space, You can specify how long you want it to be hosted for on simpload e.g. if its for week long auction on ebay you only need it hosted for a month.... And you just re-host it when the time runs out...... and its simple enough for someone who doesnt have a clue about image hosting to operate :) Superknight/Blademaster: Level 150; Hps: 132Theoretical damage per round: 234Highest recorded damage in one round:

Mercifull
Maybe on *this* forum. But im registered to quite a few and a vast majority are remotely hosted. :P Mercifull <3 Suzi "We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape. Dyronamics
Could be.... But I thought the point in question was "do you need a picture hosted for over 1 year"? I'm sure I've changed mine three times in the last few months..... I prefer to have a permanent avatar for identification which never needs rehosting anyway and swap and change signature pictures as and when I feel a new one would be interesting...... Anyway simpload is there if anyone wants an easy to use image host :) Superknight/Blademaster: Level 150; Hps: 132Theoretical damage per round: 234Highest recorded damage in one round:
mythologen
if you need something hosted for more than a year, either register, where you can easily lengthen the time on any hosted file with the click of a button, or sign up for premium service, which can host your image forever, even after you stop paying. *edit -- Other than that, i don't think it is unreasonable to ask people to come back once a year to renew their image, as most people that actually want something hosted that long have a hard time finding good web hosts anyways eh? Simpload also has some feature that imageshack lacks, for instance a very nice 'replace' function - instead of re-uploading and changing your signiture tag on every forum, or whatever, you can simply replace your original signiture file on simpload, with a new one from your hard drive. So really, if your looking for convenience...It depends on what sort of things you find more menial.
