I am lvl 88 wcing and shooting for 99. are maples or willows are faster?

Willows would be the best for experience. If you don't care about time (it'll take a lot longer with maples), you could try them but most people use willows if they want the 99 WC anytime soon.

there aren't many good places to cut AND bank maples. Most people choose either willows or yews.
