When should i use potions and what monsters should I pray on other than Jad?

Will I be able to get a fire cape with that setup and my stats?

I had almost same stats has you have when I killed him afther 6 attemps. Here are some advices I can give:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

- Use ranged potions only on the 360's and 702.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

- I manage to observe that Karil's xbow is alot better to use at the 702. Because you can fire faster and (some people may desagre) switch faster your prayer.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

- You will need at least 1Mbps internet connection.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

- Use one Ava's accumulator or one Prayer bonus cape (if your isn't trimmed).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

- Proctect with prayer on the 90's, 360's and (of course) 702.

You may want to substitute 1 super restore with brew. Lvl 90s hit hard so protect range from them if 360s are not around. If 360s are around, keep protect mage on at all times and you may want to on steel skin if 90s are around too.

Erm you're exaggerating, i manage to kill him at 512 kbps broadband connection...

I have a 3 Mbps connection anyway. Ill think about subbing one of the super restores for a sara brew. and im using the fight caves without guthans guide in aow

Take 8 sara brews with you. With 60+ prayer you'll be fine with the smaller amount of super restores.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I got the cape 5 days ago with 77 range, 75 def, 78 hp and 64 prayer. What I used was:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Veracs helm and skirt, black d'hide body, ranger boots, archers ring, barrow gloves, guthix stole and a guthix cloak (prayer cape).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Used 2 crystal bows.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Inventory, 3 range pots, 8 sara brews and the rest super restores.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I had 5 super restores and 5 sara brews left when Jad was dead.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

PS. I suggest you watch all the movies from this guide http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=565504 before you attemt it. You'll really learn alot from it of how to use the safe spots and how to use prayer.
