  1. Reign of Terror Explain.. They started out as a clan who disliked and broke the unwritten honor codes that the rest of the clan world went by, for publicity and for spite. They crashed every f2p war they found out about, and every p2p war they could. They even crashed fun events! But they became a large problem to the rest of the clans, and an anti-no-honor alliance was set up to protect wars from no-honor clans including RoT. The strategy of protecting wars worked well enough to make it not worth it economically for RoT to keep crashing wars, in the free world at least. They appear to be trying to regain the respect of the clan world now, and are planning a fight pits fun event on New Years, but they are known for tricking the trustworthy, so I dunno what they're going to do. They were definitely founded just to be bad, but the clan scene is much more complicated than cops and robbers, heroes and villains. Basically, anyone who's not your ally is your enemy, but should be treated like a person whenever clans are not involved. That is very accurate and detailed, and I agree completely with it. RoT are now the main No-Honour clan, now that NI is pretty much dead (its leader joined rot). They are pretending to be good in order to get ranked, but I advise everyone to stay wise to what they're doing. Once you are NH, you can't just go Honourable in a click. Ok, if you're going to dish it out prepare to be served on a platter. I for one have watched RoT the past few weeks, sure they were no honor but they are doing a damned good job at trying to turn their reputation around. You being a Wilderness Guardian member though I would expect you to take cheap flames at them seeing as they cleaned you guys in p2p every time you hit the portals, they even wore proper gear unlike the power amulets you all wore. Last time I checked RoT stands strong and WG are near dead, keep your flame posts elsewhere next time, gf you tried. A week or two's actions cannot wipe the slate clean of many months of abuse of the community. They ran a muck on purpose, to ruin YOUR fun just to get satisfaction out of it knowing good well what the consequences would be. Everyone all of a sudden is becoming instantly so forgiving but there will be a new clan that will rebel against the community and know what? Alot more people will probably join it knowing that they can go ahead, cause a [cabbage] load of trouble and be able to go back to any clan they like just because everyone is so forgiving. If I were leading a clan, I for one would not be willing to give someone a chance if they are known cheats, liars or trouble makers and put my members at risk of them.
  2. This should bring Tip.It back, & it will be even loved more. At least there will be more skilling events posted (maybe?) instead of a crazy PK Run-in with flamers. Just referring to Tip.It's old days... In all honesty. That's what made the board interesting to read. What could possibly be discussed about a skill clan that isn't available to discuss in other sections on tip.it's forums. Rivalries between clans and the flamers is what kept the board active in my opinion.
  3. Both matters. There has been many times where numbers have just been too much also. You can not expect to win a war on sheer organization alone, it just helps you win as with levels do. I believe they are all equally important.
  4. Probably best said right there. Generally I find wars alot more fun, there is alot of hype and anticipation around it. It makes it all the more a worthy victory if won, it's more of a concrete win in a war. (by concrete win I mean a more obvious and solid win)
  5. I don't believe DI is better then DS. Unless DS lose a good number of members I don't think they will be threatened by anyone. DI seem to be getting more members slowly but steadily and EH seem to be climbing member count to drive them to more success. Lately Corr have also been producing pretty decent opts to their pk trips and what not. So I believe DS DI EH and Corr will probably be the big contenders for the most dominant clan.
  6. I don't like it. Larger clans have a huge emphasis on pking and wars and these days it's not even for fun it's strictly for glory. This would probably appeal to smaller clans only in my opinion.
  7. antonwhy hit the nail on the head. The larger clans have to bring themselves over. Alot of flaming used to happen here yeah, but you know what? that's what made it interesting and as you can tell some of the larger clans decided to boycott tip.it in retailiation to the bans of certian people. Like I said if you were wanting the larger clans back here then you would have to offer them alot more then what RSC is, they have catered to what the clan community wanted... a structure suitable for all, gave out modship to a good amount clan figures. As I see it right now CD here has nothing that stands out :(
  8. really is upto the leaders to bring it back here, it's abit late now to try fix it in all honesty.. though lately people have been complaining alot about the same things that ruined tipit's cd in the first place over at rsc and I did use these forums more often then rsc when it was actually active. I think maybe it is upto you tipit staff to take the initiative and approach the clan leaders and ask them what they want from cd and how you can tailor them for them to use it more often. Goodluck!
  9. What is wrong with 'no name' members? Loyal members to the clan is what matters. It's actually nice to see people training to IMPROVE the clan. I would love to see the day that DS and DI kiss and make up  I wonder which clan will 'outlast' each other :P DON'T answer that lol.
