Found a bug in it already. It is possible to damage players in non-pvp with the spec. It is quite easy to figure out so expect an update/fix soon.

World 2 will be back at fally. So many people traded there im 99% sure everyone will return. Also visually its one of the nicest towns to trade in (fally park for example)

Just wondering if anyone here knew what they do? I've noticed they have been deleting inactive accounts, letting you change your name to them. A few examples include the name "Canada" and "Carrots". I'm guessing they are working there way through the alphabet A-Z. After logging into my old staking account a few of the names on my friends list are now called [#234243252] or [#3242352362]. Can anyone help fill me in? PS: If you want a rare name try searching for one starting with C as this seems to be where they are upto in the deleting of names.

The return of staking will be the best update since the removal of it. Summoning will most likely be turned off for big, worthwhile stakes as staking was always under heavy rules. Unfortunately it will also bring back scammers. When people are able to scam say, 5m here, 20m there they often will. And due to the large number of players many of these scams will go unnoticed. With the increased variation of items, skills and prayers this will also give scammers more room to scam. However it will also give more options for different builds and staking techniques.

This was in 2003-2004. Buying god armour insted of rares. This was back when red masks 1m each. Starting staking (huge addiction. It actally make me start shaking in real life during big stakes.) Staked everything i had and lost. (blue phat + cash) Spent 2days nat running for 15m then started staking again. Spent the next 2-3months staking almost 12hour liong days on runescape. Dropping all the items i had then quit (june 2006) Started AGAIN from scratch. I had just invested in gear (30m worth) then they removed staking. Basically my biggest regret was wasting all this time i played on this game.

I started back in late 03' I remember fishing lobbies on karamja and selling them into the shop untill i had 10k. I then spent this 10k on full black later for it to be scammed for the old black(g) scam :roll: Later someone in the wildie in like level 30 (i was there to pick up runes and sell) gave me full black then started attacking me. I ran and logged out shocked that i was finally rich. The thought of full rune seemed magical. A few months passed and i finally made my first mill (law running with thehate) and i brought a red mask. Kept it for awhile and traded it for full guthix (worth 1.4m) i was happy with my profit but quickly relised it was a bad mistake and never managed to sell it and buy a red mask again. Years later staking came along i got rich brought first phat, bragged about it for ages then lost it in a stake then quit. :XD: June 06'

Hey P I E here, cleaned me for a green mask like 2 years back :XD: I've been up and down myself past year or so (upto 400m, now down to 250m). Cant belive jagex got rid of staking just like that! staking was one of the only games online that gave me a huge adrenaline rush... maybe it was for the best. - how much did you make overall?

I've quit runescape for awhile now but for some reason i decied to check the updates. HOLY [bleep]ING [cabbage] WHAT THE [bleep] DID THEY DO christ i was thinking about PAYING RUNESCAPE for members so i can duel again but now its 3k max??? i'm trying to find the funny side like the people who spent 100's of hours and millions of gp to build a staker and now cant... but i cant find it funny. I still cant belive it and its been a good 30mins since i read about it Personally i woulnd't care if they removed runescape totaly. But removing bits as important as this and leaving the rest of the game up is like they are teasing with us.

Just looked at the updates again today - havnt played past few months. All i can do is :shock: :shock: :shock: wtf have they done to staking? Staking on runescape is the best part about it. Training for hours and finally being able to kill everyone is a great feeling + the 100m's that you can get off it is a great...Much better than spending my friday nights running natrue runes :P Why would they remove this? i understand some people buy cash when they get cleaned or some people sell cash when they win big but thats no where near the majority of high stakers. I'd say that maybe 10% of 20m+ stakers are selling/buying runescape gold but the other 90% dont. Why ruin it for the rest of us when you can 'easily trace gold' and ban the accounts abuseing the rules. I understand the element of gambing may come into it but for us older players that doesnt really matter. I used to stake big, it was a huge thrill but when i got cleaned i accepted it and just thanked it wasnt real cash. pfft [bleep] it i'm just gona leave runescape again, forever

First came the Clan Chat update, as well as the interface, then the 0's was given the update. :-# Not true, 0's werw WAY before. (I think it was around Dark Bow) but I'm not sure... But now that you actully bring it up....it does look fake. Around the edges of the "100k", you can see a slight color difference, where it COULD have been edited in(the 100k) as many people make the mistake of picking up the color in paint, but that makes the color exactly the same, in runescape, tehre are MANY shades in seemingly the same colr Er... the 0 update didn't happen in coins/items for ahwile (not sure when because i havnt played past 4 months) and for proof heres one of my stakes (few months old) with the new chat interface but with the old o's. Hes stakes a legit not fake. Hes my look a bit diffrent because he plays in a darker light setting

Well i'm not the richest of people anymore, infact after being cleaned in june06 i had nothing but a obby set and a dds. Well i decided to play again as i was getting bored so i got members and started to make some cash! I used noobie methods like nat running untill around 1m + obby set them staked today. This is all in around 1hour30mins. (nothing great but its a start!....right? :) ) thats it! wow it feels alot better to make that in just under 2 hours than nat run for 20+ 8-) -----Update 15th sep----- 8-)
