Yet another barrow guide, but this one burns (no pun)

I love the black salamander for barrows, too. But your methods are a little more expensive than needed.

I would use the 4 dds specs on Karil. After that I would continue to use mage style though, because it tends to be more accurate.

As for Ahrim, I would use bone bolts and a bone crossbow. Either that, or a Rune Crossbow and mith bolts. MSB and mith arrows. Whatever.

As for the tunnels, I never bothered to diagonally safespot the brother for a few reasons. I'm a pure (well, was... still am but won't be soon) so I would take quite a bit of damage if I tried. Two, I'd rather just make it easy and use a few slayer darts. Three, since I was pure, I didn't want to get defence experience so I would range in the tunnel. If I used a salamander, I accidently wouldn't change back the attack style when I put range back on. I think I got a defence level from that >_>

Pretty decent guide though. I wouldn't bother with diagonal safespotting though, just pull out a different spell. And I would range Ahrim with something else, Black Salamander is an MSB with some kind of arrow that you can't pick up -- not only that, but its on accurate style, too, not rapid.
