Peterblue
I have been looking at the Aviansies as a money maker because I hear so much about them, and training to prepare. I know the stats and quest I need(70 ranged, 70 defence(and 60 strength or agility)) (Temple of Ikov, up to Eadgar's Ruse, etc.), however I am still in the dark as to what equiment I should use. I will, when I go, have 70 defence and 70 ranged. I am wondering what the best equipment for me would be(can only spend around 300k on it). So far I have(correct me if these are wrong): Weapon Rune Crossbow/Addy Bolts Helmet Saradomin Coif Necklace Pendant of Armadyl Cape Ava's Accumalator Shield Unholy Book(no pages) Body Monk's Robes -Top- Legs Zamorak Robes -Bottom- Gloves Black Dragonhide Vambraces Boots Snakeskin Ring Ring of Life I do not own any of these and will have to buy them. Also, how many bolts, b2ps, etc. should I bring on my first trip? Click here to learn the best profit from MTK.
Fatteh
Not sure if you can use them but if you can, use broad bolts instead of Addy. They cost around half of what Addy bolts cost and hit fine for aviansies. Not sure about the equipment though, most of the stuff I use comes outside your budget. Peterblue
I could probably scrounge up enough money to get an expensive thing. After a few trips I should be able to afford more. For now, could you just tell me the amount of b2ps I need, as well as bolts and prayer potions, along with the equipment? Click here to learn the best profit from MTK. Depends which method you're using, If you're using Prayer you won't need any B2P tabs and if you're using B2P you won't need any P pots. If you're tanking without prayer just bring however many B2P tabs you can afford if you're using Prayer take about 10-15 P pots. basiliko
Assuming you want highest ranged damge with low-budget Weapon Rune Crossbow w/ Broad Bolt Helmet Blackdragonhide Necklace Fury ammy if you can afford it, or Glory as alternative Cape Ava's Accumulator Shield Rune Kiteshield for def/Rune Defender for str bonus Body Black Dragonhide Legs Black Dragonhide Gloves Black Dragonhide Boots Snakeskin Ring Archer Ring You might want to consider replacing Black Dragonhides with Saradomin Dragonhides, they gives same bonus plus Avianises wont attack you. Crazykid1321
For tanking, you must maximize both your Ranged Attack Bonuses and your Ranged Defense Bonuses: find a balance! This is for low-budget, beginner Tanking: Weapon: Rune Crossbow/Broads Bolts (I highly suggest getting 55 Slayer to be able to equip Broad Bolts.) Helmet: Torag's Helm Necklace: Armadyl Pendant (form the Temple of Ikov quest) Cape: Ava's Accumulator (Animal Magnetism required.) Shield: Granite Shield. Body: Blessed Zamorak Dragonhide Body. Legs: Torag's Platelegs Gloves: Dark (Barrows) Gloves (Recipe for Disaster required) or Blessed Saradomin Dragonhide Bracers Boots: Snakeskin Boots.(Trollheim Teleport required) Ring: Archer Ring, Ring of Life. (Depending on your budget, experience and stats.) Around 4k Broad Bolts should do. Inventory: 6 Ranged Potions. Excalibur (Merlin's Crystal required.) 60~ Bone to Peaches Tabs. 1 Noted Adamant Bar. 100 Nature Runes. 1,002 Fire Runes. 2 Law Runes 1 Mithril Grapple. Rest of inventory full of Pineapple Pizzas. Here's a tactic, complete the Mage Arena minigame/quest, get the Saradomin God Cape, replace a pizza and wear the cape into the Dungeon. Run into Armadyl's Eyrie, equip your Accumulator, and drop your cape, it will disappear - you can get it back from the place you receive it. This is to rid the need of a Saradomin God item, so you can wear either Zamorak Bracers instead of a Zamorak Dhide Body and have the other piece of equipment be a Black Dragonhide piece. (This method will also enable you to wear Barrow's gloves.) You always will need Zamorak and Armadyl items, Saradomin items are not needed while inside the Eyrie. Well, I've also read that I should have God-aligned stuff. It's pretty much a requirement.

As for SS4Alex, I REALLY can't afford that. I'm not poor but that stuff is expensive. Could you give me a more budgeted outfit with the Pendant of Armadyl and Zammy and Saradomin items, please? I've been looking around, but most of them are too expensive. Just a note, I can't afford more than 1 Barrows item. Click here to learn the best profit from MTK. This is for low-budget, beginner Prayer method: Weapon: Rune Crossbow/Broads Bolts (I highly suggest getting 55 Slayer to be able to equip Broad Bolts.) Helmet: Saradomin or Zamorak mitre. Necklace: Saradomin or Zamorak Stole. Cape: Ava's Accumulator (Animal Magnetism required.) Shield: Unholy Book/Book of Balance. Body: Monk's Robetop. Legs: Monk's Robebottom. Gloves: Dark (Barrows) Gloves (Recipe for Disaster required) or Black Dhide Vambraces. Boots: Snakeskin Boots.(Trollheim Teleport required) Ring: Archer Ring, Ring of Life. (Depending on your budget, experience and stats.) Around 700 Broad Bolts should do. Inventory: 3 Ranged Potions. Holy Wrench. 2 Pineapple Pizzas. (Just in case!) 1 Noted Adamant Bar. 50 Nature Runes. 502 Fire Runes. 2 Law Runes Rest of inventory full of Prayer Potions. Pray range, stay right outside of the Eyrie. llamster
Helm: Torag's or other barrows Cape: Accumulator Quiver: Broad or addy if you don't have 55 slayer Ammy: Armadyl unless you can afford armadyl armor, in which case use fury or glory Chest: Black/god d'hide Legs: Black/god d'hide Boots: Ranger boots or snakeskin Gloves: Barrow gloves or black/god d'hide Shield: DFS or granite/obby Ring: Archer Inventory: 10 or more B2P tabs 20 nats (they drop nats) At least several hundred fires Two or three range pots 15-20 pieces of food; cheaper stuff like salmon or tuna is sufficient Two laws (if Eadger's Ruse complete) or 12 gp (to buy climbing boots) 1 one-dose regular restore pot 1 one-dose range pot 1 one-dose super defence pot Pick up addy bars, and all runes besides mind and body. Alch rune daggers and runite limbs. Use swordies as food. Keep several herbs/gems in your inventory, swapping them for better ones as necessary. Once you have 4-5 ranarrs I would suggest you leave. Ah, this reminds me about the noob on the Runescape forums who was upset with the quest "Cold War" because apparently his grandparents died in the war. :wall:

You inventory is very wrong, what if you don't get many nature rune drops? You won't last 2 hours with 10 B2P tabs, food, and potions like that. Also, according to your current character's stats and player status, you have not been P2P or have not been P2P for very long. Please add something realistic/new to the discussion? Peterblue
Wow... I unlocked the Unholy Book, but, apparently, it's going to cost me around 4 million gp to fill it... That's the right book, right? Or am I thinking of the wrong book here(the one after Horror from the Deep)? Also, Snakeskin Boots require Trollheim Teleport because you need climbing boots to get to Trollheim, right? And, lastly, for my first time, which of Archer Ring or Ring of Life would you suggest? Seeing that you have little cash, I would go for the ring of life. Also, I have stated that you need the Trollheim telport to use Snakeskin Boots on both of my methods lists. Yes, the Horror from the Deep (red/Zamorak) Unholy book is a little expensive. So, you might want to get the (green/Guthix) Book of Balance, as anything else in your shield slot while using the Prayer Method would prove useless. Peterblue
Ah. I guess I'll leave my shield spot empty until I can afford a Zamorak book, then. Also, looking at the requirements for the Holy Wrench quest, would it be worth it for getting 18-40 farming just for the Holy Wrench? Thanks for helping straighten me out. Yes, also, I think getting your farming up would boost your overall profit tremendously! Ranarr Farming ftw! Well, if you have to fill your shield spot, I would recommend the Spirit Shield, very cheap but you have to complete Summer's End. deathfish27
Here's what I use at 66 range and 70 defence, it works fine(aviansies are very easy) for tanking helm:saradomin mitre Neck:arma pendant body:red d'hide(replace with black in your case) legs:zamorak platelegs(skirt is more in your budget) gloves:combat bracelet(you can use blessed bracers take advantage of that) ring: life(the drops you want aren't rare enough to merit a wealth) boots:climbers to get their, snakeskin in the dungeon cape:accumulator shield:obsidian(granite is fine) weapon:rune c'bow with broad bolts. You can use blessed d'hide to replace some of these items. You won't need more than 1 item for each god. Avoid bandos followers. Using a blessed sara d'hide item to replace the combat brace or d'hide to will let you use a better helm. With your stats you should tank using btp tabs, the amount depends on how long you want to stay. Bring some food to start yourself off, and use a combat familiar. Potions help, but you will last longer than the potions will stay in effect (no matter how many you bring). Good luck  The quest points in the stat pic above this message is wrong, disregard it.Yeah, everyone loves me!
