@Metallic, The Robin's in notorious all have I's in their names not 1's, but if you wanna make up excuses just so you can say you were crashed when it was some random then by my guest. Also the "no watchers" rule is ridiculous to begin with / not likely that people not in either clan would know.

Don't like what they did to the extreme magic pot. I was fine with spending the 100m+ I did on it to use my potions for PVM not PVP. Now one of the main uses for getting the herb level has been pretty badly nerfed. The rest of the update doesn't bother me too much, I don't RC and if I ever want to use magic for combat I'll use ancients still.

@whoever said solace controlled most of the fight. When your leader is yelling at you in vent telling you to stop tanking so well you know you're doing fairly well and they're not. Gf Solace.

The hp bar update was the best update of all IMO, when I pk the most frustrating thing is when I think I have a really good kill only to discover they still have a tiny bit of hp left and now it's gone :thumbsup: .

The Wilderness Agility Course has been added to the allowed areas for Bounty and Bounty (+1) worlds. That's the thing I'm most thrilled about in this update. I'm not much of a quest person so I doubt I'll do it. EDIT: Not sure why everyone thinks the quest requirements are good :?, they seem fairly average to me.

I'm not LG, just saying they would have had less opts than you not more due to the higher opts attacks rule ( you said you rushed them) and your OP says they have more.

Congratz Illusion, although the OP is a bit misleading. The rules state that higher opts attack so obviously they wouldn't have started with 111opts (looks around 90 to me). Congratulations anyway and I look forward to fighting you in the future.

To people saying Magic is not overpowered go watch some hybrid pking videos out around MB/dragons/44 ports, mage was already quite powerful before this update, now it's going to be absurd.

It was never underpowered to begin with, just unimaginative people who saw a max hit of 30 (33 with staffs update) and cried underpowered.

There are huge flaws with this update, specifically how they effect PVP combat. I wouldn't call them flaws. Certainly, PvP will change somewhat with this update (I'd say only a small fraction of Pkers have 80+ Herblore, anyway), but that simply means that Pkers will have to adapt accordingly. The release of Godswords and Dragon Claws significantly affected PvP; does this mean that the GWD and WGS updates were necessarily flawed because of this? Change, in my opinion, is generally not malevolent, and I can't see the Herblore expansion unbalancing PvP to the extent that it becomes so. Hitting 46 with ice barrage and 49 with miasmic barrage is what makes this Herblore update unbalance PvP the most, although I haven't looked into many of the possibilities with the new melee potions. The ability to hit 46 with ice barrage and freeze your opponent for 20 seconds is absurd, when they increased the max from 30-33 with the staff update it wasn't too bad but it certainly made things interesting. If you've seen any hybrid videos you'll see how long those freezes last and how much damage is done in the time that you can't move, now increase the max of those hits by 13 and you have an insanely overpowered class of Pkers. Just throwing this last one out there as it's something I'm going to be looking at but the previous max of dragon claws with spec was in the 90's I believe, so you could possibly be 1 hit by these now. (Don't quote me on that going to have a look at it now)

From what I've heard they are not assistable and apparently there's a 30 second delay between uses of the spec restore potion so no I doubt they'll nerf it.

I'm not sure if they're trying to fill the rants pages with "Magic is overpowered" but I can see it already. Some of the pots like the spec restore are decent and have proper limitations on them ( It takes a fair amount of time to drink 4 doses to be able to get full spec again) but the magic potion( Just one example, there are others) is insane. Hitting 45's with barrage is extremely overpowered.

You can and you can't, If you time your attack on your target while the person he's fighting is hitting him you will both hit at the same time, but after that first attack only you can attack him.

Seers ring, although it is slowly going up. My setup for any type of EP building is Karils top/Veracs Skirt/D Spear (or brawlers if you're using them, which I take it you are)/Seers ring. It'll give you a nice defense bonus and the D spear spec can be used to run away from anyone trying to kill you.

Looking for some suggestions on possible spots to train range with 51 range/40 hp and 1 for the rest of my stats. I am willing to do quests/raise skilling levels etc. but I would prefer it if I didn't have to and finally I have somewhere in the region of 250k to spend if that has any bearing on the option(more as I go but that's all for the moment). Forgot to add that I'm a member.

I'm currently working on my level 67 account, it is members, and I was looking for some opinions as to which of the two things in the title I should purchase first. My attack / strength levels are 60 and 63 and my short term goal for both of these is level 70 which will (hopefully) be achieved via slayer. 43 prayer is also another of my short term goals. Please provide a reason for which one you choose ( if you have one). Thanks. Edit: 32 slayer in response to the poster below, not that it makes much difference ( that I can see anyway).

If you get 300k exp then tell me how. I have used a pair at black sallies, Putting them on only when taking them from the net and the gloves only got me about 60k exp, not even enough to level. Edit: Also be prepared to be attacked quite a lot, it was swarming with groups PKing when I was there.

I absolutely love reading. Generally I prefer reading series of books because I get so into them and I hate it when a book ends. Some of my favourites would have to be: The LOTR series/The Hobbit Harry Potter series The Inheritance series (Yes I liked it, don't shoot me please) The Chronicles of Narnia The Rangers Apprentice series (There was one book I didn't like but overall it's good) The Redwall series (Favourite out of all of these) I also really enjoyed TKAM and Animal Farm.
