  1. I'm currently training strength via slayer and using a BGS. I also use it for things like Castle Wars, GWD, but slayer is the main thing at the moment. Looking for some opinions on if i should keep it or buy a SS and just use a whip for GWD/CW.
  2. It may become "unnecessary" to break the 25k rule but i'm sure people won't use steel it in favour of it. The def bonus on rune is well worth the cost of it. Also i agree with Sam, if you're wearing full steel (whether you can't afford rune or can't wear it) i don't see why anyone with rune should have to "no arm" you / why you should ask someone to "no arm" you.
  3. Accumulator for sure, so much more convenient than picking up your bolts.
  4. I reckon it should be punishable, it'd make people think twice before scamming and hacking .
  5. It'd be easier to range Fire giants at the waterfall dungeon rather than close combat. You might be able to get away with tanking dusties, don't think so for the others though.
  6. Honestly the only reason I use the BGS for slayer is because I have an extreme dislike for the D scim, and I don't want to train strength on controlled.
  7. For training? short answer is no. I recently bought one too, it's extremely bad for training. If you want to max attack and defense, go with a whip, cheap and more effective.
  8. Fair enough, but I cast in Karils and torags and i hit fine with dart, could just be my magic level though.
  9. Fire bolt, it's like 2.5 times cheaper and in my experience the drops don't really pay for the runes (but then again I have horrible luck) but the cost is fairly minimal so you should be fine.
  10. Change the farseer helm to a proselyte helmet or something, mage bonus doesn't effect slayer dart damage. Don't change the cape either, for the same reason. Get your construction up a bit too, Portals and stuff are rather helpful for barrows and just in general.
  11. Go for 99 Wc, not sure about the exp rates but it doesn't require as much attention which makes it way easier, plus you'll get the cape at the end as an added bonus.
  12. Fire giants can be safe spotted in the waterfall dungeon, Dust devils can be safespotted (Don't know how, never done it) and Nechryaels can be safe spotted in the tower, north(i think?) side of the room. Not sure about Gargoyles though. Good luck with slayer btw  .
