Best ways to kill Black Demons?

So for my 50th task from less than good ol' Duradel I have gotten 130ish Black Demons. I've never killed Black Demons before!! Whats the various options open to me for killing them, and in your opinions, the best? As it is my 50th task, money is of little limit, but I'd preferably have the most cost effective/easiest within reason method?

If you're 70+ range do that, otherwise wear good prayer armor to melee and bring about 12-16 pray pots which will last you almost the whole task. Range is highly suggested or you can also halberd. :mrgreen:

I'd say the best/most efficient method is to cannon and range them in Taverly dungeon. This is definitely not the cheapest thought, as the drops most likely won't pay for the cannonballs. Check out this slayer guide for more:

I kill the black demons in chaos tunnels with protect from melee and the drops usually make up for the prayer pots plus if your looking for them they drop more charms then the ones in tavelry dungeon.

So far, I've tried maging them with the Wave spells, that seemed to take 20 casts per demon in full mystic, so that's...kind of expensive. My second recommendation given to me was to use Guthans on them, which I'm about to try soon, then I'll try ranged, but my ranged is just dead on 70 so I didn't think it'd be too good. If I do range them, what's the best sort of setup to take with me? I've been doing everything I've been doing in the wilderness under edge, just cos it's not crowded, and easy access for my testingdings.

Ranging in the chaos tunnels is ok, just take rune cbwo and your best range gear, its easy enough to trap them.
