A problem with herblore (and combat)...

see, i used some cash to buy herbs, etc., to get my herblore up to 54 within a few days... that was pretty sweet. something i have noticed, however, when dealing with several monsters (namely basilisks and banshees), was that the amount of herbs you get piles up very quickly. My solution to this is... a herb collecting recepticle. some sort of basket, or bag, or anything, that you can just stick your unids and other herbs into while training. sometimes, i will drop a lob, pick up a unid, id it, find out its something good, and keep it. well, that means the lob isn't used. i will eat it, but not to its full potential, when i'm at 10 hp below full, or some such thing. if a herb bag, or sack, or something, was introduced, you could train and keep your herbs all stored away while your food remains untouched. lets face it, you can stick lots of leaves in a little baggie, but huge lobsters take up more space. they shouldn't be considered as the same size for inventory purposes.

Yeah, a lobster would take up more space in real life than RS's imaginary herbs, but they don't take up 1 space each because they're big; they take up space because they're useful.

I agree. The amount should be limited though.

The inventory system is a bit corrupted when it comes to realism. 28 leaves take up the same room as 28 sharks.. :?

I think it would be usefull if the number fo herbs you could put into a bag would be limited to such as 2x your Herblore level. It would encourage people to level it up, since it means more $ to carry home after some killings.

Leave herlore as it is. It is not broken. Unless you want ranarr weeds and prayer pots to be worth like 1k. Honestly...I think you're just upset because it's not an easy skill to level, which in that case, I'd just say deal with it...I do. :?

Word.

I, for one, am glad unid's stack this way. It keeps herblore that slighty bit more challenging.

CANE

Just to be different.

Think about it. A freaking Dragon Cane with a Dragonstone gem.

The spec will simply your character equiping a glove and beachslapping the enemy, who will break down and do the Cry emote for 10 seconds straight.

A herb bag would be cool but useless as more would equal less in the eyes of jagex, and cave crawlers are much better for me they drop herbs, secondary ingrediens and water filled vials. All you need is a few anti posions to start.

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

somehow that sounds inapprotiate with the herbs in baggies and stuff...

anyway, as sucky as it is to level herblore i see no problem with it

can you imagine how busy the chaos druids wold get if herbs stacked? People would never leave until they had got loads, and would just be annoying.

Leave it as it is methinks.
