First Few Pixels! - Begginer :)

Hi there :) I'm Mike or Platty ^^

Well I started having a interest in pixels a while back, so i decided to give it a try, i dont think i done to bad at all, It took me rather a long time and created it on MS Paint. I finished it then months later (now) I decided to make another :) I'll post my progress

SOME C/C Would be GREATLY appreciated :)

Smoothed head, Made my own fire cape, changed boots angle, changed wand size and angle, made ahrims skirt a bit smaller

yes i realise its only like 1/8th done, im working on it now, i need C/C on how to improve these areas before i move on to another part.

Ok, the sigs are alright, but the writing kinda spoils it a bit...

Also, NEVER EVER SAVE AS .JPEG! Always save it as a .PNG, it keeps the pixels sharp, and it also lowers the file size.

Now, time for some C/C. It's quite good, but the background in the top one is just a line of pixels. Maybe build up on it a bit more?

Also, the person in the second picture looks lik he is stadning in quite an akward way... :-k

yeah i know what you mean, cus ill be making him tb someone, so therefore he leans across to cast tb ;)

any tips on how to improve the cape? it seems to look as if its sticking to the ahrims

On number two:

I used my super-hidden scanning program which my friend stole from C.S.I and lend to me, and it detected a massive mistake :

Lava cape is a copy-paste job. :shame:

His feet should point the same way as his head does. Also, thet book shouldn't be seen from this angle.

Wand seems to be in two pieces. Don't break the line when you make spears, staves ect. that your character is holding.

well its not exactly easy making that cape is it now =p

ok ill remove the book, n fix the wand

.being made in paint means nothing, most pixels here are made in paint.

..just because the cape wouldnt have been easy doesnt mean u needed to make a halfass job of it.

...BG and cube needs a lot more shading on the BG
