I like to kill the monsters collect the runes and alch the drops with the runes so, is there a good monster that does that? Sometimes I also just like to bank the runes. I would really like to know. I can't really fight a Spirit Tree over and over again like I could do with a regular monster. So far, Moss Giants and Ice Giants look to be the best. I quite like dark wizards - using dragonhide armour, and either range or rune weapon & anti-dragonfire... a good scattering of runes, and when they drop nats, it's 4. IIRC, there are 2 piles of nature runes on the "nature rune island" that is guarded by lesser demons in the NE part of the wildy. 3 nats in 1 pile 4 nats in the other. There is also a chaos rune spawn in the central wildy guarded by moss giants and a triple cosmic rune spawn in the NW part of the wildy guarded by Ice giants.
