My guide to faking level up screenshots [Great for blogs]

Suggestions & Feedback are really appreciated. Tell me anything I could explain better, or what I should improve on.

Well, this could be in either Player-Made Guides: Monsters, Money-Making, Tips & Other or it could be in the Gallery. After some talking with some people, I have decided to put it here. If it is better in the gallery, move it there.

This guide will work with Microsoft Paint, so you don't have to download any other special software to do this.

When I made my blog, I tried to get the level up screen shots, but, sometimes I would miss them. This was very common with combat oriented skills. First, I looked for this font, but I could not find it anywhere. I decided to get all of the numbers 1-9 off of the level up screenshots. After that, I had to find all of the level up screenshots, but this took a while. Once I finally did it, I compiled all the screenshots together, hosted it and put it on my blog. A few people have suggested for me to put here, so I have and this is the guide.

This is the font and how to space it to make it look realistic.

These are the level up picture. When you find the level up picture you want, just copy and paste it to a paint document and take the numbers from the previous picture and do what it says.

Ok, here are some level up shots I have gathered.

Now, when you miss a screenshot of a level, you can just fake it with this!

If you feel you have any way to make this any better than it is right now, no matter how small it is, please let me know. I will include it in there and I will give you credit.

CREDITS:

Me for making this.

The_Zappery for pointing out that I accidentally included some pictures twice.

Sparkells for saying that I should specifically say that even Microsoft Paint can do this.

Zou_Lou for noticing that the slayer picture was missing and replacing it with one <3:

Legolas: Well, this little neeb convinced me to resurrect this decaying guide from the depths of inactivity and accuracy. He also gave me all the members skills and the runecrafting & smithing level up shots. Big help!

Da_Latios: Giving that picture really sped up the templates.

a tip: to change text on paint:

use the eye dropper tool and select back ground.

use the rectangle tolol on fill in mode(3rd down) and erase text except a letter for you to use the eye dropper on for the text.. and to adjust size of text. using text tool type what you want. erease that5 one letter.

i used this for my siggy

Nice but you had forgotten Slayer, so I made it myself.

Feel free to use it in your first post. :)

It would save a great deal of time if you could post the numbers from 1 to 99 including the coloured background as following, so we would simply have to copy and paste.

Example: lvl80jz4.png

Well, there are about 23 skills now, so that would be 2,254 screen shots to make. If I can manage one level up picture every 30 seconds, this is about as fast as I can go, I could get all of them done in 67,620 seconds. That is 1,127 minutes which would be about 18.9 hours.

That is the reason I haven't done it yet. It is, however my future goal.

PS: There is no level 1 screenshot ;)

Hello, :)

I did not mean to post the whole image of every skill, only the number of each level (see my example below the Slayer screenshot). That would make 98 pictures, not 2.254. 8-)

PS: I would appreciate if you could give me credits for the Slayer picture. ;)

Oh, ok. I read it wrong. After reading it a few times I get what you mean. But, I will get on that tomorrow.

Thanks a lot Moonshadow. 8-)

If you take a close look to my little picture, you will notice I have kept a tiny piece of the W and half of the final dot. This was made on purpose for the users to be able to place the number in the correct location on the picture without the need of any red mark. :)

Look: lvl80jz4.png

I would greatly appreciate if you could do the same for the upcoming pictures. It would be a bit faster not to have to remove the red square but simply to put the number over it. ;)
