As confirmed in the QA about it they will not work. As with all other xp boosters that do not work they IGNORE the boost and look instead to the bonus weekend xp. So you'll start at 2.7x normal gold xp and go down to 1.1x normal gold xp regardless of gauntlets or not Operation Gold Sparkles :: Chompy Kills :: Full Profound :: Champions :: Barbarian Notes :: Champions Tackle Box :: MA RewardsDragonkin Journals :: Ports Stories :: Elder Chronicles :: Boss Slayer :: Penance King :: Kal'gerion Titles :: Gold Statue

Even the 1.1x overrides all items that give bonus xp. However, if you happen to use a SC tool, it won't degrade.

March 11, 201016 yr bummer ... what else would be a good thing for a lvl 60 to smtih that isn't too exspensive?steel bars yield a small margin of profit even when superheated at the momentaside from smelting/superheating, there aren't too many options.I simply recommend you train something else for bonus week and save smithing for after the break. The best training methods for bonus week are, typically, the more expensive ones afterall.
