Arceus
If I want to say "thanks for all the fish," do I use por or para, i.e.: "gracias por todos los peces" or"gracias para todos los peces"? Google Translate indicates that it is por but of course these tools are not infallible so I wanted to check, if there are any native speakers on TIF . Thanks! Arceus
I thought fish was pescado, oh well. There must be some subtle difference then. Sadly I can't remember what the Spanish servers used. "Fight for what you believe in, and believe in what you're fighting for." Skull
Fish is called something different based on it's state of being, as in if it's a live fish swimming around or a dead/cooked fish. You're saying thank you for all the (live) fish. If you want to say thank you for cooked fish you would want to say: Gracias por todos los pescados.
