  1. We've started a weekly guest callers event (been going over a month now) and there have been some genuine surprises  Keanu led us to victory against Divine Forces which shocked him as much as it did us!
  2. Yeah, my arm was twisted by a couple of ex TR members (was TR for a while). + I was bribed with the signature above
  3. #NBK on SwiftIRC || http://nbk-rs.com/index/ || Propker the Prophet VS Well our outstanding Council member Rostitution set up a 2 day prep war with Dr Destiny from Poison after reading some pretty harsh comments on our clan. Since Poison had been declining fights from us for the past 2 months it was a nice surprise to actually get a yes. , Respect to you guys for accepting a fight against a dead GMT clan, we appreciate it. Well the rounds went rather well for us excellent calling from Bigroror and awesome tanking by every NBK member guaranteed us the wins for both rounds. Round 1 Starting: 15-15 Ending: 9-0 xox Round 2 Starting: 18-18 Ending: 11-0 Despite most of the Poison members remaining leaving the friends chat one good hearted fellow decided to go hide! Well we at NBK like exciting games and followed him in the dance around the portal! Thanks for the fun Toio Nelas! Props to our clan friend Rashid for sorting us out with a back up ts. #nbk and pm `Ross or Ali9987 if you want to be an NBK guest caller for our friday fight.
  4. On a random walk out in the country side, a cargo plane carrying several tons of cold porridge has engine failure and needs to dump it's load in a futile attempt to keep altitude.... sadly you get splattered.
  5. Thanks for the welcome guys! Like wise :o Calvin and Hobbes crossed with Firefly.... I just died and went to heaven.
  6. Necronomicon: The Best Weird Tales od H P Lovecraft Was an avid fan of the roleplaying game back in the 90's... but being young and lacking in patience I found the short stories and novellettes a chore to get through. Now that I'm older and going a bit grey, I thought I'd buy the book and give it a go. Is pretty good to be fair :D
  7. My start date might make me look like an old user, but I barely remember making it  RSN is ToeJam and I used to use tip it alot for treasure trails and guides for the most part. Decided to delve into the forum side of the community yesterday and hopefully make some new friends and aquaintances. I've been very active in the RSC forums, specifically the clan fights section... but I don't want to narrow myself down and thought I'd branch out a little to another prominant fan site and see if the community appeals. My only real (rs) claim to fame of a kind is that I was once a prominant figure @ mobilising armies and held the #1 spot for some time... but real life caught up with me and the wife far prefers it when I do my allocated chores around the house and pay her some attention  So, I'm very open to any questions or requests for advise on how to make the experience of imbuing rings tolerable. Anyway... HELLO! (note: I am rather useless at knowing if signitures meet the size requirements.. so if there are any problems, please left me know and I'll skew as best I can)
  8. In general my lamps usually go on the skills I find hard to motivate myself to train. In the current instance I put them all into Mining.
  9. The clan (warring) scene has not exactly died, rsc still has a thriving forum dedicated to the scene and it still generates a lot of activity. The issue is that with the incoming rs3 update, many clans that are still active are holding their breath and enjoying the last moments of now. Will be very interesting to see what happens... but as a participant of the clan scene, many of us still find it fun. On the flip side, it has become a bit of an elitist community and draws in a lot of out of game drama to help secure the win... we can only hope that once the dust settles from rs3, new life and new blood will be pumped in to stabalise and grow the warring side of runescape.
  10. Fair play to him. Burnout should not be ignored and if anything a break will do him some good. Actually highly amused by the anger generated over donations. Not so much by those who donated, Suomi was a figurehead of sorts and I'm sure you were very excited about him attaining his goal... more over my own naivity that these high profile players are not in fact amazing with money management and do need the funding and backing from others; kind of burst the bubble of amazement I had
  11. Great job TR, looked fun. Considering the long term beef with some/all (?) members of CU, really glad you won :shades: Pleasantly surprised to see it was a clean fight
