See it this wayy. You put offer in for max for a divine sigil, g.e updates the sigil loses a few hundred gp value. Now you have a timerglass on your sigil offer. Your offer for the sigil is valid so long as you have that timerglass on. Once the timerglass gets removed, you have to abort your offer as other max offers will preceed yours. Don't think so. I remember Master_Smither sniping either a divine or an ely after his offer had been "hourglassed" for some time. He also got back 14m gp IIRC. I guess my post didn't make sense fully, if he DID have the hourglass then that means he HAS a chance at sniping.
