I have an alienware m15x laptop, however, its a lot more powerful than your cpu :x.

I like everything on your new alienware, other than the ram. 1gb? Seriously? Doesn't really matter if its ddr3, I have 4gb and it's very quick, however, 1 gb wouldn't be all that quick i could imagine, knowing that my previous computers have all been 1gb lol..

Also, the gfx isn't amazing, I don't really like ATI very much. I have a geforce gt 240m. Coulda gone 260x, but I decided to stick 200 dollars lower. It works perfect.

Anyways, grats on the new computer, if it is new.

He has 3GB of RAM (speed isn't that good however).

What I will say is that the specs of your computer are not that good, especially for the premium price tag alienware puts on their computers.

I don;t like Alienware simply because it is just over priced for what they have. Custom PC's > Prebuilt. I do have an Alienware m17x laptop for school uses.

Heh, thanks for the comments everyone, and all in all the price was around $1,500. I still need to buy a separate back-up hard drive though. As well as purchase the best mouse and keyboard. The mouse and keyboard are only around $200 though :) And yes, it is new, it's four days old now. I'm enjoying it sooo much :)

dimm # 1 = 1 gb , dimm # 2 = 1 gb , dimm # 3 = 1gb meaning he has 3 sticks of ram each 1gb.

For 1500$ this conf isnt really worth that chunk of money.i3 and 5670 were ones of the worst you could get for a new desktop but you know best yourself <.<
