True but what if I enjoy PCing and I PC Melees, Range, Hp, Mage and Prayer to 99? I don't think i'll get high ratings. And you're playing a game, you should atleast try to make some things fun, ofcourse it isn't fun if you buy 100k logs and a knife and start cutting them. Then stop caring about the ratings and do what you enjoy :) About the logs, doesn't matter whether you have to buy them or cut them yourself, you have to fletch them eventually. I don't find that fun, so I don't do fletching. Easy as that.

I've wanted 99 fletching....gave up before I bought the knife. There is no point in doing something you don't like in a game. It's better to be a happy camper than a sad skiller.

Be honest. after 11 days of membership:

This has been bugging me for a while now. Before, even in p2p, max hit was maybe 35, and it was a challenge to kill someone....Then we got godswords....hard to get, expensive, but hitting 70s with only 99 hp max and 22 hp food.It is too easy to kill with 2 hits or 1 combo.Same with dark bow-up to 96 max...and max hp is still the same. Dark bows are only 800k now, which is too cheap for such a high hitting weapon, opposed to armadyl godsword for 60m+. Same with dragon claws, they hit too much and accurately. Can't we get more hp? Maybe get hp boosts from questpoints? Or better food? Whales? Nothing of that came, only dragon items for f2p....their best food heals 14, and you can even use the dds special....Was it really needed? Pking is too easy, 2 clicks and pick up loot.... If we would get better food and HP....you might ask, would it affect PvE combat too? Jad would be too easy? Maybe increase their max hits too....and keep the pvp max hits?Either way, the current HP is too low. I'll tell you why do I think all of this....once I was pking, me in full dharok+firecape, about to kill this guy in veracs....I was on 70 HP, he only on 20....he ate once, I hit a 39, he was redbarred. I was about to get my best pk in my life! Then suddenly somebody ice blitzed me, I ate, and out of nowhere I saw a 20 and 70....my character dropped to the ground, and I only saw the firecape for the last time.. Also lost the full dharoks, which was a lot for me by then....Went to the bank to withdraw my glory to get the firecape back, and then everything stopped-and I only saw Connection Lost.. My firecape was gone, it took me long 10 attempts....only because of that overpowered piece of crap.... I almost started crying, and then my mom got scared, and said, "You're movin' with your auntie and uncle in Bel-Air." I whistled for a cab and when it came near The license plate said fresh and it had dice in the mirror. If anything I could say that this cab was rare, but I thought, "Nah, forget it. Yo, holmes to Bel-Air!" I pulled up to the house about 7 or 8 and I yelled to the cabbie, "Yo holmes smell ya later!" Looked at my kingdom I was finally there, to sit on my throne as the prince of Bel-Air.

Or would I get creamed? 74 hp 60 def 81 range 44 pray 78 combat p2p Any chance of succeeding at pking? Or get range higher, which I will am doing now anyways?

3 hilts in 1 day and a b plate on a solo kill? How is that even possible lol, I've gwded for a year and only got one hilt ever....200 solo kills, only a shard.... Welcome to Runescape I guess.

Not really, two years ago anyone with a dragon item was a really good player and a person who could have a barrows set was a legend for me. Then you reach the goal yourself and realize it isn't that good. He didn't say that he is a legend, but for these lv40 newbies, he is. A few years ago, he would be a legend to me as well.... Anyways, cool shield, although I think that you will sell it very quickly like me, have fun with it. 7/10

Lol, remember the days everybody thought there is going to be an uber slayer monster with 50m drops and everybody rushing to 99.... We got: Dark bow-pkers exclusive, not expensive Dragon Boots-too easy to get, cheap Dragonfire shield-Not slayer Dragon full helm-Not slayer Dragon platebody-Not slayer GWD items-NOT SLAYER. Spirit shields-Look above 18 months later, nothing uber worth 50m, whips dropped and even if a 99 slayer update came, the item would plummet really fast. Got to 85 slayer on my main, only realized it gives 2 more "farmable" monsters, and nothing else. If you like slayer, go ahead and train it, but I dare to say that the days of slayer are over for a long time :ohnoes:

Got rid of my main, maybe coming back on my pure....would like an initiate whipper. Question is, did all these pures come back? Is there anyone pking at that level, except for rushers and raggers?

Remember, it's a game, not science....Do what you enjoy to do. I have 51 Firemaking and 52 Fletching, and never considered getting it up.....because it is boring and pointless. I enjoy Abyssal demons way more than the "high exp" places, so I mostly camped there.....because I have found it fun. Does doing what I enjoy in a game "fail", compared to what is "more efficient?"

Bandits have nothing to surprise with. Maybe one day I can get a left half actually? Or another abby head? 4 whips in 1 hour? You never know what happens.... Bandits, on the other hand, are dull and boring. Slayer? Sick of skipping the same tasks over and over. I want to actually level, not walk from npc to npc.

Good crims, overall money, decent exp and a whip once in a time? Plus half afkable? Give me a REAL reason why camping fails. Crims:Waterfiends Money: I get maybe 130k from a task with no whip. And that task takes a long time. Hell green dragons make like 200k an hour. Decent Exp: The exp isn't all that great. A lot of places beat it. Whip: 1/700 kills. That's quite a while in between. Not worth it in the gp/hour. Waterfiends:Only crims and ok exp I guess. Green Drags-Involve too much clicking and banking. No charms and bad exp. Other exp places-No item drops, or too much clicking required. Whips are just a bonus to keep you going=p Abbies give all 4 tbh, little clicking and attention required, and the occassional whip is always nice. =p I could have easily camped the final melee levels there, unlike doing Zombie Monkeys, which bore me after 5 minutes. The drops and extras keep me going.

Took you quite a while to realize that the slayer cape is useless, right? LL Not like 99 slay is going to give you more profits in the future compared to the wasted time...

So yeah, why do people say bad things about camping abyssals, where it all started. "camping fails, slay like a man" Somebody gets 85 slayer and everybody goes "amagawd dun camp" Most recently, somebody flamed me for camping METAL DRAGONS. Srsly. You heard me. FREAKING METAL DRAGONS. What is next, "dking off task is for lamers"? "omg you can't slay kq off task u "? It's not like slaying makes you "hardcore" and "elite" compared to those who prefer the items.... Post Edited by Shazarabbit. Remember flaming is against forum rules as is encouraging it.
