A video game character can't be defined as badass, unless of course you beat the game and you yourself (the one playing the game) leads them to their episodes of badassery. A crappy player can play the game once, die and then give up - making Kratos appear not very badass at all. So really it is you who is the badass in this context... although using a game controller and sitting in front of a screen to attain this ranking makes quite a paradox. Ah well. :) Kratos has already done the deeds though. Don't you remember the end of GOW1? Kratos sits as god for the rest of time. That means he has already reobtained godhood.
