Making a website - which program?
Here are some of the basics. (Note to the experts, please correct me if I'm wrong somewhere, Thanks!) A good way to start learning about building webpages is to look at some. Lets use the tip.it forum home page as an example. In your browser navigate to that page and click on View > Page Source (this is for firefox, it's View > Source in Internet Explorer). Here's what the first few lines look like: Forum.Tip.It :: Index </pre><table width="100%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="10" border="0" align="center"> Lets look at the first line: [code] </

spy-ware problem
Here's what I use: Spybot Search and Destroy (free!) Detect and remove spyware. http://www.safer-networking.org/ LavaSoft Ad-Aware (free!) Fights spyware. http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/ AVG Free Virus Scanner http://free.grisoft.com/ NEVER trust websites or popups that say you have spyware (unless you recognize it as coming from a valid program on your computer (such as one of the above)). If you're unsure as to weather or not a spyware report is valid, close it and run one (better yet, all three  ) of the programs above. If you find lots of spyware on your system, make sure you reboot and scan again after you remove it. If something keeps coming back, google it and see if you can find help for removing that particular program.

Yagoohoogle
Just found yagoohoogle myself a few days ago. I should use it as those two are the main seach engines I use (along with dogpile). I like don't know why, but I don't like the MSN search. As for google and yahoo finding the same results, check out this website: http://www.langreiter.com/exec/yahoo-vs-google.html

i smoke
First of all, I agree that smoking is dumb as it costs lots of money and isn't healthy. However, I don't think the solution is getting the government to ban smoking. If you don't like eating at a place where people are allowed to smoke then try to get the restaurant to ban smoking or just go someplace else, don't try to get the government to ban it. I don̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t think the government should tax cigarettes so much either. Also, I don't think that non-smokers should be forced to pay for the healthcare of those who do.

Religion made by man
I put my response to HugATree in a new topic, since it was out of place in this one. The link is http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?p=1546813#1546813 Back on topic, The Bible was held up as fact when it was written, if it was not fact, many people would have had the opertunity to set the records straight. Also the devotion with which it was copied from it's begining speaks to the value it had to people.

Debate: How did the cosmos get to the state it is in now?
This is an extension from the "Religion made by man" topic, as our discussion about the creation of the world moved solidly off of that topic. I'm starting with my reply to HugATree, which contains most of what has been said recently. His arguments were either outright lies, or recycled "evidence" that has been explained. His arguments had no credit to begin with, why should I have to got through every one because some people like ignoring todays science? You̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢re arguments only disprove his IF science backs you up, something that has not been proven here. Apolipoprotein AI Milano http://www.talkorigins.org/faqs/informa ... otein.html One beneficial mutation? Out of how many bad mutations? And for someone to have two or three good mutations (if other good mutations exist), the odds would decrease exponentially. Why should I? He was arguing with evolution, evolution does not explain how the world came around. He was also arguing for Creationism, as am I. Are you biased against the theory of Creationism so much that you would rather believe nothing than to believe in the most logical conclusion? It never will be a theory, if creationism is anything its an unproven hypothesis. People call evolution a theory, yet several times the theory has been changed to fit with the facts. Each time a scientific theory is changed it moves back to the hypothesis stage. The theory of Creationism has been around since about 4,000 B.C., yet the same theory is still valid, even more so in some cases. Such as? All the things listed below. Why does it have to come from anywhere? You believe that there was always energy just floating around? "I can't work it out, God did it." Why would the eternal existence of energy be any more likely than the eternal existence of God? Or do you yourself have trouble working it out? Read it? It applies to closed systems. Apply it to the cosmos. If there is no God then the cosmos would be a closed system, thus making the creation of order in the form of life impossible. The earth gets its energy from the sun, if it was closed entropy would take hold. How the cosmos get orderly enough to form a sun and an earth? A good gap filler isn't he? God is the original cause. All the other theories are made up by man to try to fill the gap that is made when God is taken out. Nice to see your creation "science" rejects science whenever it pleases. The only scientific explanation for a beginning is a cause that is not bound by scientific laws: God. Do creationists have trouble reading? Evolution doesn't explain how life formed, or how the universe formed. Did I say evolution? I said scientists. Did you have a problem reading? I've looked at answersingenesis.org before, they are generally anti-science. Many of their claims aren't scientific and appears to be invented in their heads, provide the bible doesn't reject it. A funny one is they claim dead animals and plants should continue to live because they're getting energy from the sun, you can't get anymore ignorant towards science than that. Here̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s what̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s on that list: 1. Galaxies wind themselves up too fast 2. Comets disintegrate too quickly 3. Not enough mud on the sea floor 4. Not enough sodium in the sea 5. The Eartḫ̢̢ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s magnetic field is decaying too fast 6. Many strata are too tightly bent 7. Injected sandstone shortens geologic ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¹Ãâages̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ 8. Fossil radioactivity shortens geologic ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¹Ãâages̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ to a few years 9. Helium in the wrong places 10. Not enough stone age skeletons 11. Agriculture is too recent 12. History is too short Look scientific to me. Which scientific principles has it broken? The only group pulling out assumptions are creationists. How can you call creationism science when all you've proven is it uses a god of gaps? Weren't you just calling it a scientific theory? It fails to even come close. The principles listed above. And what gaps?

HugATree, you only provided evidence against one of Double_Edged arguments, on all the others you basically said ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¢â¬ÅNu-uh,̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬ÃâÃ

Abortion Opinions (no flaming)
You better not eat anything with fat it may cause a heart attack. You better not breath the air its full of bad chemicals it may give you cancer. And so forth and so forth. There is always a small risk in EVERYTHING you do. It is just nature that brings about this unpredictability. You can not say dont do x because of y; because the is always a y with anything. Cause and effect, they only way to stop it is to die. Yes there is risk all around us in society, but if you̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢re not smart enough to differentiate between high-risk situations and low-risk situations, then I pity you. If you̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢re willing to risk getting heart disease then eat fatty food. If you̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢re willing to risk breathing in pollution, then breathe the air. If you̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢re willing to risk doing stupid things that you regret later, then do drugs and alcohol. Also lets look at your examples: 1. According to americanheart.org 502,189 people in the United Sates died in 2001 from coronary heart disease. There is no simple cure for coronary heart disease. Some of these people chose lifestyles that cause heart disease. Society tried to save these people. 2. According to earth-policy.org 70,000 people die annually in the United States from air pollution. Most of these people were guilty in helping create air pollution. Society tried to save these people once their health started deteriorating. Lets now look at abortion: According to http://womensissues.about.com/cs/aborti ... nstats.htm 1,310,000 children were killed (or as they put it ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¢â¬Åabortions occurred̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬ÃâÃ

Abortion Opinions (no flaming)
Are people on respirators, or people who are disabled less human than those who aren't? Ending the life of a human being in cold blood isn't murder? Sperm, when given the chance does not develop into an unborn baby. An unborn baby, when given the chance becomes a newborn, then a toddler, teenager, and adult.

Abortion Opinions (no flaming)
Mercifull, you don't seem to understand the physical consequence of abortion, death. If death is better than neglect and abuse, then why is the penalty for murder stronger than the penalty for neglect and abuse? The baby will lead a much worse life being alive as opposed to being killed? So my inability to adopt a baby makes it right for you to kill it? Again, if you think death is better than depression, then you would think that the ideal anti-depressant "medication" would be a loaded gun. So toddlers aren̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t alive?
