If you are suggesting a new market world it is pointless. World 2 is only effective and popular because it is full of people thus providing a buyer for anything you would want to buy or a seller for anything you would want to buy. A new world would only be successful if enough people are there thus creating the problem of a full world all over again.

Range bonus does not affect max hit. It is only more powerful if you plan on using dragon arrows. (The spec for the other arrows hit 30% higher at the same drain as MSB but is countered by the fact that the MSB spec hits twice). It is a decent choice for training but you cannot say it is superior simply because it is more accurate as players have shown that they prefer speed over accuracy.

A +32 range bonus will not make a HUGE difference. It will make a small difference as when you train you are already wearing Dhides, gloves, Archer/Ranger set, etc. This bow is even slower than i first predicted and that is not good for people who want to train with it. People have always preferred speed over accuracy. (Virtually all rangers train on rapid as opposed to accurate style). I just dont see how this would be a good "investment" as far as training would go. Sure it will be good for pking or staking but if its not a good training weapon the price just cant stay above 1 or 2 Mil unless the drop rates get drastically lowered.

That's the point though. Robins have managed to hold their value despite having been out for over a year. (Of course this is partly due to its rarity). If the Dark Bow is a great weapon and revolutionary to range training then it too should be able to hold its value. But i think it will be closer to an Archer ring which while it is attainable by a much more limited player base it will fall rapidly as it is a fairly common drop. Anyways we should probably just agree to disagree as we've drawn this thread off-topic.

You can make the argument that a +30 range bonus is worth it, that's fine. I just dont think that the Robin is the best comparison. A Robin is far rarer than an archer ring drop or a Dark Bow drop from what i have seen so far as far as people selling the bow on forums or World 2.

We got around 3k players who can get dark bows and around 500-600k who can get robins. While this is true there are probably 250-400 people active killing dark beasts trying to get the dark bow. I doubt that there are that many people constantly hunting lvl 3 clues in search for riches such as a Robin Hood hat or 3rd age. Clues are more of a passive part of the game that people do if they get one from their regular activities.

An archer ring was a much better example to give. Robins are quite a rare item to get. It's price is dictated very much by the fact that people like it for its looks and there is a fairy tight supply of them. There will be people killing Dark Beasts in every world for the next few weeks which will bring a constant supply of Dark Bows into the game. Yet Robin Hood hats are probably just as rare an item from a Lvl 3 clue as Dark Bows are from a Dark Beast but then you have to get your hands on a Lvl 3 clue to start with.

Right but when you wear other stuff it would be about 150 vs 183 range bonus. Is that better? Sure. But it's definitely not 10M better just for everyday training and im not entirely sure that it is 2M better. I have no problem with people paying for it for whatever reasons that they wish and i have no problem with Lvl 90 slayers trying to get as much as they can for the bow. But i probably wont be buying one as id rather use a Cbow which hits higher and i dont need to pick up the arrows.

If the Dark Bow takes twice as long as the MSB which is what im seeing from a vid that was posted then it ends up being the same. You would shoot twice with the MSB with every 1 shot for the Dark Bow. It is not more powerful than a MSB unless you plan on using dragon arrows which would be for pking only. It is really no more effective for range training as range bonuses are already so high from black d'hide and archers helms, etc.

With this special and hitting 2 arrows at once, there's no doubt what is the best bow out there. Add that to high gen store price (protect item) and you get a perfect range pkin toy. Also the cost of killing them isn't just immaterial. They aren't fun to kill, killing them cost and they only got 1 drop which we'd hunt. Before bows they were empty and if the bows drop under the whip price, they will be empty again. The value for the Dark Bow will not stay high just because it is the best Pking weapon. Whips are still expensive because it is also the best training option which is not necessarily true of the Dark Bow. If you were to just be using the weapon for training then youd be shelling out a few million gp just for about 30 extra range bonus since the Dark Bow is about twice as slow as MSB.

I believe that like Canada gas is sold in liters in Britain as opposed to gallons in America. 1 gallon is the equivalent of about 3.75 liters so you may want to factor that into your calculations.

Kites were also a part of RSC... It's just that all shields looked like a square shield when worn and only looked different in trade or inv pictures. Since the Falador shield store carries a rather small selection of shields almost all the rune shields at first were provided by Bluerose13x.

Where do you see tokkul on the ground? The red dot under me is 2 vials that i had to drop to pick up the fire cape + tokkul in my inv.

So if what you say is true and if you die at jad you get 4032 tokkul or however many then i could have simply put in 4032 tokkul if this was a fake... Why would i put in an incorrect amount of tokkul if i was making a fake? It really wouldnt be too hard to ask around to my friends to see how much the exact amount is as i am not the first nor will i be the last to die at jad.

lol? If it was perfectly even then there would be 5 and only 5 lines of text visible. And yes it is possible to have a perfectly even text box after scrolling up. As far as the edited looking 4 is concerned you should try getting 4k tokkul or something and looking at it.

I really have no clue what happened but when i got sent outside there was a fire cape right under me. At first i couldnt pick it up since my inv was full so i thought it was some kind of jagex teaser. But when i dropped 2 vials i got to pick up the cape and tokkul :shock: .
