  1. Yeah, but all that frustrated wriggling to get free from a sticky object while being effectively squished against someone else. 23583 ~D. V. "That's like, total comedy routine waiting to happen." Devnull

713 Dangit... I wish I could remember where I left that last post about Steel Sentinels and FunOrb. Now I'm stuck for copying it over into a new thread in that other forum. :wall: ~D. V. "too tired to think better right now" Devnull

  4. 23585 I'm wondering what is going to do when they find out that they're stuck in the same wrap as you. :twss: ~D. V. "That will be funny to watch." Devnull
  5. You're banned for missing a moment where I left two guys stuck together and probably unable to move. ~D. V. "Wishing you had been watching..." Devnull
  6. Perhaps you meant "power wash"? I have no idea what a "ower wash" is. And as for him... You realize your post was 2 hours apart, and you had more than time enough to double-check this time, right? You even threw off one other guy along with you! I think I know what to do here. How shameful... :shame: ('#FingerOfShame' ... thanks for the idea, Jimmy Kimmel!) <*pulls out a very wide, extremely long roll of sticky fly paper, and wraps @Arceus and together with a reasonable-but-fair length of it, and then puts the rest of the roll back away*> Enjoy your sticky situation... :twss: Now, where was I? Oh boy... @Arceus, you might want to send at least 3 Admins to  http://forum.tip.it/topic/328954-give-us-the-option-of-removing-a-post/ as soon as possible. It appears an old issue has decided to try and rear its' ugly head again after some passage of time, and the last time I remember it coming up was back when we were on 'PhpBB 2.x'-based boards. :wall: 705 ~D. 20. Hi, Blaze. It's very likely an Admin will be posting here as well, but I've heard in the past that post deletions are strictly against the core policies of these forums. Even the Admins themselves are NOT allowed to use their delete buttons (even though I think I heard those buttons are more-than-likely always available to them, due to something like being unable to disable them), because of the record-keeping work they do for many different reasons behind the scenes here. That even includes all the work that goes into handling post reports and rule-breakers. :geek: Further, those delete buttons are not available to the rest of us anyway because of various additional reasons including what might happen if someone broke into a user's account for malicious reasons. Like, imagine if some idiot came along who didn't like you, a post you typed, or even a video you posted up for some stupid reason. Now, imagine that they broke in and started deleting your posts left and right, wiping out your user avatar, altering your profile details to make you look like something you're not... the list of possibilities goes on. You really wouldn't like that, would you? Plus, it would be a real headache for your fellow forum members who were discussing something with you, should your posts just suddenly disappear like that, even though it was known that there was no rule violations in your posts. :( And that's why that delete button isn't available. It would just be a source of far too much trouble. I think we would all prefer that trouble never happens, right? ~Mr. D. V. "Sorry, but there's reasons it isn't available." Devnull

  24. 23603 Hey, @Arceus, you know that H&A note thread you made recently? I think I spotted a reading flow error in one of the sentences... ...as with that highlighted word in the above quote present, it's like the sentence was trying to do two different things at the same time, but had a train wreck instead. From what I can tell, it's worth removing that single word, as I've never seen any text where it reads "from of" with those two words used right next to each other like that. Here's the item without it... ...which removes the choke in reading flow I accidentally encountered. Or perhaps, you might reword the sentence like so... ...which is admittedly a minor change, but it could be considered a style change, so I would leave making a change like that up to your discretion. Either way, could you please fix it? It would be very appreciated. :) ~Mr. D. V. "Not really trying to be a grammar nazi!" Devnull
