  1. There's enough evidence of psychological harm to reject any notion that the harm is subjective - it's very much real. No ifs, buts or maybies.
  2. I was being facetious... I mean it was like really obvious. Like when someone posts a "I hate x" thread on Rants and everyone replies by doing the thing they hate. Of course Saradomin isn't trolling. In all seriousness, I don't think it should be removed, especially when other emotes could easily be used to achieve the same effect. Like so: Oh, you think this smiley needs removing? Well done! =D> ^ Note that doesn't represent my opinion, I'm being a [bleep] on purpose to show it's not the smiley that's at fault, it's the user's attitude.
  3. Have you got nothing better to do than whine about this? Trollololol.
  4. Kudos for making the thread. A seperate section for individual Nintendo games behind hide tags might be an idea too. I'll check the Wii later but my XBL name is 'Ginger W'
  5. There were no Palestinians there but you fought them off anyway. Yeah, that works.
  6. Oh, of course. As an Israeli you oppose an open borders agreement because you're concerned about Egypt. I'm blown away by your selfless act of concern.
  7. At least we'd have each other for company. Hell sounds like a dangerous place for the friendless.
  8. Obvious flamebait is obvious, but also good news is good.
  9. Couldn't help noticing that for the second or perhaps even third time on this thread you've conveniently ignored my question. It's fine, really - if you want spend your life wearing rose tinted glasses don't be amazed when others see the world in technicolour.
  10. "Most", ISRAEL63? It's a [citation needed] moment I'm afraid. You've already demonstrated a lack of perspective on this topic sufficient enough for me to doubt any statement you make which contains weasel words like 'most' without good evidence, or even a credible source.
  11. Caught a shiny Parasect on LeafGreen once, and a shiny Mienfoo a few days ago whilst EV training at Dragonspire Tower. Tried the PokeRadar once but I messed up at 25 and truth be told it bored me to tears. Only use that for Ditto hunting now.
  12. To *some* Jews, yes. I know Jews in the UK who won't touch Israel with a ten foot barge poll, because they believe mankind has artificially made Israel, and that the Kingdom will be delivered by God. I also know local Jewish groups who attend pro-Lebanese and Palestinian rallies because they deplore Israel's actions against those two states.
  13. I was asking ISRAEL63 the question, Ring. He seemed to be using 'Jewish' and 'Zionist' as the same thing, as though all Jews are Zionists. He is, of course, wrong in that belief.
  14. Oppresion = low life expectency? OK, I've officially given up trying to make sense of any strawman argument you and Israel63 make.
  15. Not sure Thomas the Tank Engine had much of an opinion on the Israel-Arab conflict. But I guess since there isn't much of an infrastructure left in Gaza, he'd support efforts to place rail tracks there.
  16. Why are you saying 'Jews' instead of 'Israelis'?
  17. You do realise that something being a terrorist organisation doesn't stop it from being part of a political party or movement, don't you? Sinn Fein and the IRA (the old IRA, not the modern organisation of the same name) spring to mind. There's nothing undemocratic about electing terrorists into office. In fact, denying such political freedom would be exactly the opposite of democracy.
  18. I don't think anyone is denying that horrible have been committed in the name of Palestinian sovereignty, we're just refuting the perpetual and self-righteous innocence Israel portrays to the rest of the world.
  19. If you think your sly back-handed insults will stop me from making an example than you're sadly mistaken. I'm merely reminding you all of the liberties every TIF user already takes for granted, and that people in glasshouses should not cast stones.
  20. The only problem from an organisational point of view is that such a thread will need some kind of 'permanent secretary' to update the list, either a moderator or the OP; someone who can be depended on to update regularly and keep on touch with thread starters and tournament leaders, since Gamertags and Friend Codes tend to get traded around most then.
  21. I've been on websites which ban the use of external links completely citing child safety as the reason (belief or disbelief is up to you). In fact, one such website happens to be the most popular fansite for one of Nintendo best-selling franchises. The idea you guys are being picked on is really quite laughable, if we're being blunt. In being able to post ELs in the first place, you have no idea how lucky you are.
  22. I'd support placing this in the Index thread. Individual threads can then either keep their own lists or simply redirect to the sticky. Would definitely make it more communal and easier to organise things.
  23. "Could Pontius Pilate possibly judge the intentions of Jesus?" will probably be the next rant. Got a tenner on it. It's not like when I gave 13 months as a crew member I possibly wanted to 'help' people. I did it for the money, obviously.
  24. It's already been explained why you can't see it, hence written proof is being obtained. Change the record. As for morals, I'm not sure being unable to advertise a website on a RuneScape fansite really qualifies as some disgusting social illness we would all do well to avoid. Again, perspective please.
