  1. You need 40 CB to play it now... and my account being level 18 max won't be able to play since the update.
  2. Well, I'll think of a way :D Evanboy, thanks for the wishes. Eventually, I might be able to pull off the lamps, or some other thing. As I said before. The ONLY quest that gives defense exp requires 40 defense. And you have to kill a like lvl 92 monster. And that would be pretty much impossible with 40 def. and 10 hits. Some other quests give ancient lamps that give 10k-20k exp. All of these quests require stats that a defense pure could not get.
  3. Ugh... nothings going as planned... Now the minigame requires 40 Combat (At 18 and lower that'll be a problem) Also, the wilderness tag is postponed for a while to "reach our high expectations"...This is becoming very annoying.

Actually, the title says that jagex is our helpful autoers :D what are you guys on about? the title is "jagex....your HELPING autoers" Btw, i think jagex is doing this for the money in the big time... I agree completelly. Causing the autoers to become members won't change autoers thoughts at all. As long as the autoers are making a profit on ebay, they wouldn't care if $5 is taken out of theyre $200 or so. What Jagex did was say, "How can we take an advantage on this." Hopefully they at least said, "How can we take an advantage on this irl and mabey make a small dent in the autoers." They ended up ruining an aspect of the game though and damaging many others. Actully, if you think about it, it ruined everything. It will mace RC more expensive which will make mage more expensive. This will make more people convert to melee of range making the arrows and weapons more costly. If enough people cant afford it, then why need cooking to heal damage? Then we might as well forget about fishing, WC and fire since they're mainly for cooking. Because theres no fighting, just forget about prayer, slayer, and hits. And why would we need smelting and crafting to make armor and other items to aid in combat. And with all these stats gone, why have herblore to make potions for the stats. Then why have farming for herblore and food? Why would we need fletching if no range? So it really hurts every aspect of the game.
  5. Yeah, I thought of that, but it gives exp in the lowest skill, which could end up being farming, attack, strength, thieving, whatever. And I can only do it once a week, so if I don't do it good the first time I don't have another chance. Also, getting to 49 firemaking is so so so boring lol. On my other account I had to get 50 for desert treasure, and that was almost as boring as getting the 43 thieving for it also lol. This wilderness tag thing sounds really awesome. I'll be sure to tell you guys once I get it. :D
  6. Then I'll still get hits exp... After calculating though, I could kill chickens to 25 then do the mini game to 60 and still be level 18. Just doesn't feel the same having 13 hits instead of 10... :roll: Mabey I'll wait till that wildy tag thing comes out... is it out yet?
  7. Theres only 1 quest that gives deense exp, and you need 30 defense to do it. Right now I'm level 3 defense on tutorial island since it doesn't give any hp exp. I'll probably just have to lamp to 25 then minigame the rest of the way. I could train to 25, but I'd end up with 17 hp, which would give me a lvl 19 pure. I could do that, but I think that every level counts here...

  12. PLEASE read the whole thread... or at least this whole post before posting. Ok... I need some help. And all ideas are welcome... this thread is for brainstorming together. The basic idea is this: Attack - 1 Strength - 1 Defense - 60 Hits - 10 Magic - 1 Prayer - 1 Range - 1 And the other skills can have any level. These skills will create a combat level of 18. If you have ANY ideas that will raise any other combat stats than defense, I will not even bother trying them. So far, these are some of the suggestions: Working: None have yet been proven to work for various reasons Not working: Ring of recoil - Doesn't give exp Poison - Doesn't give exp Long range - Gives range exp Confuse - Gives magic exp Varrock dummies - You can only train attack on them PC - Must have 40 CB to get into it now Theres probably a couple more that I've missed. Not tested: Quests - Will do later Tears of Guthix - Goes along with quest Jenie lamps - Takes to long to try Long range with cannon - Will do soon Suspected updates: Wilderness Tag - Hasn't come out.
  13. Also, poisons and rings of recoil don't give any exp. when they deal damage. Looks like the only thing left it lamps... and if an average lamp gives 300-1000 exp, it would take 40-80 lamps to get to 40 in one skill, and 275-860 lamps for a lvl 60 skill. And even if each lamp gave 3k exp, it would take about 18k lamps to get 99 in 4 skills (att, def, str, and range) mage could be alched or teleported to 99, and prayer just needs bones buried. Mabey the 300-800 lamps could be possible, but I don't see that happening any time soon. Mabey you could get them all in a year if you played every day for a long long time.
  14. I tried the dummy thing, and what happens is it will only give exp for attack. No matter what you have your attack settings to, it will give 5 attack exp per hit on the dummy. I don't know if you could somehow change this... but um... yeah.
  15. If you talk to the ghost in the graveyard abover Varrock with the visibility ring from desert treasure but with no ghostspeak ammy, the ghost is like wooowooo and you end up saying all your base are belong to us. Which is a song from a crappy band.
  16. Sorry to bring back an old old post... But... I was bored, and found that for level 999, it would require around: 4,611,143,369,000,000,000,000 - In the sextillions... :shock: I don't see that really happening unless somebody either finds out how to live forever, or it's a family account of people that only play the game, eat, and sleep, and it's passed down through like 30 generations... (and each person lives to be like 90...)
  17. I'd say once you max, buy a phat set, then max again, buy a set, max again, untill you have all the phats!!! But, as far as making another currency, I highly doubt that that will ever happen. Then it gets too complicated. And what if somebody gets thier money changed from 1m gp to 1k silver? But another person sais that silver is worth 100 gold so they get 1m gp turned into 10k silver. And so on... Other currency won't happen.
  18. To save some space, I think that some stuff wouldn't be really neccessary. The thing that I like, and should definitally stay in my opinion are: 8-10 bank slots, renamable :D all the normal features like withdrawl as notes/items, and sort as swap/insert :D A general/bin section :D Locking, only for that it will stay there when all of them are out... like removing all bloods, and it will keep their space open :D The following things seem kinda pointless, redundant, unnessecary, or just something that can easily be done by other means autodrop(note all then drop the note, extra memory) autosort (would be really hard to make, so much extra memory, you'd lagg like no tommorow every time somebody organised thier bank) splitting(take out x ammount and put in other slot, extra memory) change format (extra memory, youl'l see the same thing) give away item (it's called trading, extra memory)

  20. This is one amazing thing you have devised here!!!!! There is one problem, PLEASE READ THIS!!!!! Jagex will not open any links sent to them at all!!! They do this for security reasons to protect the main site from contamination or from being hacked. I recently sent in a query and added a link to the Tip.It forums for reference, and they replied saying that unfortunatelly, they can not open any links sent to them. If you are able to contact them outside of the mainframe, they might be able to take a peek, but I'm not entirely sure. Once again, I love those pictures, and think that they would own for protection from scammers, but I doubt that Jagex will ever see this. ALSO: With 300+ people sending images and links to Jagex, they will HIGHLY suspect that there is a bug trying to get onto the site. So You're best bet would be to contact a Staff member via query, and try to set up something so that they will be able to view the images. This is one of the best idea's that I've seen for Runescape in a long long time. Keep up the good work and stop at nothing untill this is shown, but your best bet would be to go at it at a different angle then spamming Jagex's inbox. More than anything, I'd think that they're getting ticked off from something like this. Currently, I'm sending a query and trying to set up something right now... All we can do is wait. :mrgreen: BTW:Add me to the list :D EDIT:Sent, waiting for a reply...The query was generally just explaining how it looks and works, giving information like it's on tip.it, explaining that I wont try to give a link, then suggesting that I give them a step by step way to get to this topic to see it. If they will come here to look at it, I'd give them my tip.it account so they don't have to waiste time making one :P

  22. 1. make it to where this " " doesnt show up as a message... fishing with 50 people saying nothing is very annoying... 2. Team staking. 3. Less lagging.
  23. No it wouldn't, as they could get the same thing from making a lvl 150 max... At level 150, it would take billions of exp. I think that they will move it up for a couple reasons. The dragon armor and weapons are coming out, eventually, there will probably be dragonite ore and bars. Rune plates require 99 smithing to make, so how would people make dragon armor? Once all dragon armor is out, they might make Dragon (t) and (g)... This would require a whole new level of clues, from monsters that would b nearly impossible to beat with only levels up to 99. Also, many many people as mentioned earlier are gaining 99's in levels eveywhere. There couldn't be 10,000 Zezimas... there has to be something to reach for. More, harder quests, more armors and weapons, more skills, more monsters, are all things that might eventually have them boost the levels up. Also, once you get to level 99, it sais, "Next level at: whatever exp." Is this a forshadow that there will be a next level? Until they do anything, all that you can do is just make a lot of money, stake, pk, do all quests, try to do random things, have partys, help people, make a different account, get a life outside of RS, and I guess there could be more... :roll:

  25. I was fishing in catherby, when all of a sudden, somebody sais, "Hey look at that drop on the island..." I move my screen to see the island that the water obelisk is on, and i see a lot of money, full run, and a lot of other stuff lying on the ground. I ran to the bank and withdrew 20 laws, then ran back to find other people just starting to run. (Dontcha love them boots of lightness :P ) I ended up getting full rune, fremmy cape, fire tiara, 150+ laws, 50 chaos, and some cakes :D... Some other guy got the money right after i got the rune kite... I missed the cash by 1 word. :cry: I don't think it was very much though, so I'm fine :D I don't know who dropped it, it just "appeared there"... That was pretty fun though, and I just got full rune off the ground :mrgreen:
