  1. kk, this is a question for ne1 who has finished the final battle in RFD. To do the Final Battle, y do u need to have completed Desert Treasure? Lol, thats it! Post bk plz
  2. How does everyone know all of this stuff?! I like the offensive shield idea, and I've been well and truly shown that the double swords won't work, but since when was Runescape physics that in-depth? Come to think of it, twin swords are a lot like claws, and they still included them in the game, didn't they? But since when were claws any good....
  3. it is very like the fight pits but with big cash rewards. kinda like a mix between the pits and the duel arena. intersting...
  4. Gd point, well made. A rule would probably b too far, these people aren't worth the time it would take to make 1. I still quite like the idea of having sub-sections in the scamming rule, but if u have any common sense it'll b best just to ignore them.
  5. That's exactly what I'm talking about! How does that make someone a noob?
  6. ty for the decent reply. I c the point ur making, lol u know ur stuff! I'd still like the swords, even if only for show purposes, I reckon player v. player both with twin swords would be something to c. ty again :D
  7. w00t! im pratctically drowning in the amount of replies i'm getting...
  8. I have to admit this is the thread that's captured most of my attention. It's an incredible idea and would work brilliantly. Just a few suggestions: It could possibly be set in the Khazari Jungle so it's further away from civilization. It might work well as a single player game, where you face a day in the jungle on a much accelerated time scale. For instance u have 10 mins to make ur camp, 10 mins to make arrows or traps and catch food. Its just an idea. Instead of having specific spots for every item you need like herbs, you have to search the area, looking in trees and under rocks etc. And instead of specific hunting grounds there could be wild boars etc. that attack your camp which you have to defend against. I really like ur idea, keep up the gd work.
  9. I agree with a lot of things, but unfortunately not this 1. I like the sound of getting some more xp, but there's no way I'd ever use real money to pay for something in-game (except for membership of course). And a 1 in 1mil drop seems kinda extreme... how long would it take to kill 1 mil KQueens? Thx, but im gonna stick with my d scimmy
  10. I've always wondered why Jagex have never included twin swords. I've searched the tip.it forums and no-one else seems to have sed nething so I'll give u my thoughts on it. The swords themselves would be about half the length of a longsword, 1 held in both hands. Unlike the defender, the second sword doesn't give a def. bonus, but works in partnership with its twin. The resulting effect is a melee weapon (or weapons) that work at around the same speed as throwing knives or darts. Imagine a Dragon weapon at that speed! Hitting off a 20 every couple of seconds. Now, thinking as Jagex do, there's no way that a weapon that powerful would b included, so I'd suggest lowering the strength of the weapon until its maximum hit was around 8. That's still an incredible 240 damage per minute. Possible Special Attacks could include: Rampage: Many 1's and 2's dealt at incredible speed for 10 seconds Double-strike: 1 super-charged hit with both swords at the same time Parry: Transfer the the attack bonus of the second blade to a defence bonus for 1 min. Split: Fight two enemies at once for a limited period of time If they existed these would be my weapon of choice. Let me know what u think. NOTE: I'll try an make a picture at a later date.
  11. Wow. hira shuriken and samurai swords (ty for the real name 4 it). I'd pay BIG money for them.
  12. i think it's a great idea! i've wanted it for ages and i'm glad somebody's finnally written it down. On the medical side of thins it'll help stop people getting repetitive strain injury lol :
  13. Absolutely rite. when u cant type a capital S or I'm without an apostrophe, things have gone too far. It should be up to you the level of filtering that u want. A similar system for the forums would b a gd idea 2.
  14. hmmm..the rc idea seems a bit complex, but its not a bad idea. Lightning bolt does remind me of a less powerful sara strike
  15. ty, that was the first helpful post. let's c if i can't get some more...
  16. I was thinking somewhere along the same lines, but I'd like a feature to tell u whether the people u reported got banned or what happened to them.
  17. aye, i had a look at that. But i'm after you're thoughts on the subject, not all of the hundreds of variations on the word.
  18. A couple of years ago the word newb, newbie, noob and all of the other myriad variations on that, had a definite meaning. "A new, lol-leveled player who is unfimiliar with the game and how it works" Now, however, I feel that the true meaning has become obscured in the mists of time. I see level 70's calling level 100's noobs because they won't sell them their armour. People call lvl 80's noobs, how can a lvl 80 be a noob?! :-s Generally it is used as an insult when it could, should even, be reffered to as just a stage in the 'life cycle' of that avatar, when player are getting to grips with their surroundings, not someone who wont' give you what you want. Let me know your feelings on this one.
  19. Kl. It's nice to know that at least some people are thinking the same way as me. I'd like to hear from someone who does go around asking, it would b interesting to hear both sides of the argument. ty evry1
  20. It's an interesting idea, but it may need refining a bit. I think it would help if the player was slightly more involved with the horse. Eg. you still have to steer it but it could move twice as fast as normal running. As to the food an water aspect, I think 1 food/water per step is a little excessive. Maybe if food was stackable like fishing bait, you could feed the horse when its running energy was lowered to 0% and restore it. Also, there are various animal troughs in the farms around RS so u could just wait until u reached the next one. Whilst in Stables, you could brush your horse down and add horseshoes from bronze through to dragon, and add guilded saddles. If you can't b bothered to look after it then u could pay an Ostler lyk 20 horsefeed, much like wen u pay a farmer compost or crops to look after your allotments. I do like the idea of lances, or having throwing javelins while riding. Further expansion could lead to horse v. horse Jousting in the Duel Arena. A wider range of horses for the higher levels would b quite appealing. From the lowest of pack-mules to pure thoroughbred race stallion, whilst using the camels for desert riding. I like the idea! Maybe a Gertrude's Horse Quest would b in order
  21. Aye, they're pretty gd. Not too sure about the Relleka 1 tho, seeing as there's already 1 just outside Relleka. Having new locations as quest rewards would b gd. How about unlockable rooms and servants too :?: Nice ideas Ryen
  22. Too rite, but not if ur on some1 else's lol. It's like trying to talk to a brick wall. :wall:
  23. Kl, gd suggestions. I do think Jagex need to revise some rules, and add or take away some. Mebe some 4 time wasting wouldn't go amiss lol? Lyk wen u turn up 4 trades and they nvr show. Possibly u could get sub-sections inside the scamming rule. :-k But this gf/bf thing is happening more and more, Jagex need to do something. Keep posting ty
