  1. Not to follow what seems to be the trend of this post, but I would call myself pretty normal, yet abnormal in some respects. Username: Enjoi88 I am a 19 year old student attending a technical college in Washington(state), going for my AAS in Computer Security and Network Administration. With my first year down, my sights on a career are being solidified. I like to play Runescape off and on, taking breaks every few weeks but have been a loyal player since the days of free roam PK'ing (PK'ing outside of cities) and Party Hat duping. Love the game and how it has progressed over the years, and hope to see such an imaginative community grow in the future. My MySpace if you feel so inclined to see the face behind a name [bEST VIEWED IN FIREFOX] Happy Skilling :)
  2. gone from 77 to nearly 80 theiving :D

    Slayer...

If you got green drags for slayer, your best bet is to burthope it and then continue on with other tasks, green drags arent worth the risk in the wild
  4. the tech is way too much since the gradien doesnt blend at all with the content boxes. Stay with the original and try not to round everything off, I've noticed rounded content areas only work well with white/light colored websites, doesnt do too well in dark theme's.
  5. 500k for a fully coded website with user login, and admin editing with matching forum.... A fully coded web layout with full integration with forum can sell for over a few hundred USD :?
  6. Work on depth, its just brushing + render at the moment, try adding lightness and contrast differences, or burn white to lighten areas. C4
  7. Right on, nice addition. Maybe add some gradient to the images? Just a thought. Lets keep it going, looking great. C4
  8. As many of us here have moderate to advanced pratice and experience in Photoshop, we all have obviously pursued many other media boards/sites for inspiration, etc... To that affect, something thats been catching onto newer sites and has been around on older, is a graphic chain. It can be anything from a render, artwork piece, 3D modeling, to a Template. Since this forum has been quite relative to signature making, I thought we could start Graphic Chains. RULES 1) Use the color scheme 2) Post if you want to make an addition, and wait your turn until the person in front of you has posted their contribution 3) If an addition is made that ruins/alters another artists work it can be reversed and sent onto the next person. 4) Add whatever you want to add, but be respectful to people designs (as long as they arent 200x200px buttons that say HOME in TimesNewRoman font :x ) We'll start with a background Ive created and we just progress from there until we have a working (not as in coded) webpage template. It could possibly be added to a Media Forum Sticky to show our work as a Tip.It board and its artists? Anyways, heres the background: (PREVIEW) = http://home.comcast.net/~j.m.dobyns/WebPageBG.png (PSD FILE) = http://home.comcast.net/~j.m.dobyns/WebPageBG.psd Have at it
  9. Like Necro stated, use MS-Paint. As photoshop is harder to get ahold of (if you want to stay legal) and takes a while to get used to the interface and tools, MS-Paint is very very basic and helps when making isometric [box - symmetric] designs when you are starting out. Google "pixel image tutorials" or something of the like and pratice in MS-Paint before you plan on jump starting into Misterxman quality images :P
  10. Might want to do some more learning with basic HTML and CSS. You can turn easy site templates created in Photoshop into sliced images and use HTML spacing to construct the site. Not too difficult, theres tons of guides out there. home.comcast.net/~j.m.dobyns/Template.html Its one of my most recent practice pieces (*original template from http://www.clantemplates.com and it will not be used to construct an actual web page*) Basic HTML webpages are fine for personal webpages and family sites but when you really want to get into GFX sites, CSS is really going to be needed in order to make creative and fluid sites.
  11. OMG you ripped those pictures!! Its illegal to rip pictures that you dont own
  12. Weeee bit busy, but that could have been the feel you were going for, I have no idea. As for your brushing, try not to use many brush sets unless you find a specific highlighting set for blending render (which I think I have, Ill see if I cant find it for you). Use more of the gradient circular defaults given by Photoshop. Be sure to be always changing your opacity and flow so that you get that shading from dark to opaque at the edges. You might also want to try making your own brushes per render. Like in my Boundless Dreams render, I made brushes and used different volumes of red and light red-orange to use mirrors effects. Might not work well for your render in particular, just a few ideas.... C4
  13. And you really prefer 70% of the posts to be pixel signatures? Media is media, is this forum really doesnt want to get in trouble for people using "ripped" images from games and other mediums, then they should specifically post that. Sure no using stolen images, but when you stole an entire finished product [such as one from deviant-art], cut it, and post it as your own...then YES is it a stolen image and is technically "illegal". If I take my Halo2 game book, or my Battlefield2 Manual and scan the images, or take them from the game directories, I TECHNICALLY own those images since I bought it. And yes there are copyrights, and due to that my previous example would be illegal. But if you really look at the scope of things.... In Chaper 5 of the United States Copyright Law and Related Laws Contained in Title 17 of the United States Code [not a direct quote, verified interpretation]: -Verified by Sarah McDermot, Washington State, United States Government Professor. Need I say more? ^
  14. Your probably going to want Macromedia Flash MX2004 Trial, Macromedia should have a trial on their site, if you cant google and find it, youll either have to pirate it, or forget about using Flash lolz
  15. Paint is the way to go for making isometric stuff as it will help you draw better lines, photoshop is more for designing and creating images
  16. Dam you people are way too picking about "ripped images". Theres a difference from ripped images to free renders. If a site has renders that they allow you to use/cut/crop for use in web media, than it is fine and free for the taking. And no it does not matter if they have the images with consent of the original creators (eg: Game Renders, In Game-Pictures). Ripped pictures are pictures that have been stealen from someone elses "3d' render, from deviantart for example, and used for their own use. If you dont allow freakin cut renders, then just change this whole dam forum into a pixel media forum and get rid of the abstract, etc. Most people who want to make abstract signatures and such, do not have access to a 3D model creations program, as some of us do, so they cannot make renders by themselves. *On Topic* Your sig is ok....you might want to browse tutorial sites or graphics design sites (eg: or[/u]
  17. Pretty good replicate, however, how old is that photgraph? Lolz Since living in Washington, and having seen it quite recently....theres a big bulge of hardened lava in the crater :P That picture must be a year or two old, if not more  Keep it up Nadril :)
  18. Atleast blend when your done with a clone stamp, holy crp, I thought I was horrible with one...
  19. They call them "free fonts": http://www.1001fonts.com http://www.acidfonts.com http://www.freefonts.com etc, etc Fonts are cheap, why not buy sets urself?
  20. Right on! I love the rendering idea of legos, and you did a good job in it [not sure your 3DSM background]. Keep it going, it could turn out pretty neato
  21. If your going to want to run any good game (I sense BF2 or HL2) your going to want to get SLI in your system (Running Dual Cards). Itll defiantely cost more [my dual 7800gtx's cost me over 1200 bucks] but it is undescribable how much more performance you get running SLI. Also make sure your motherboard is an SLI Model (Has 2 PCI Express 16x ports). As for the power supply, your going to want to visit Nvidia's SLI site for assembling the card, SLI or not, because it has powersupply verifications. IF your powersupply is decribed as having as 12V1 and 12V2, @ "x", then you just need to add them together for your PCI Express voltage.
  22. My computer can already beat out the 360 in any benchmark tests, I just wont have the games....(Below are PC stats)

    New Style.....

Well it is a signature, so it is a tag of artwork. This isnt a rating forum specifically, so I am able to post without needing a rate. And people could try making their own? [As stated in the first post]

    New Style.....

I dearly apologize that I am lagging the forums. Just like these forums, I too am only allowed to draw out 25mb of bandwidth a month, and I bet that this 16 KB is surely going to making reading much harder. Ill be sure to remove it as soon as possible.. It may have been used before by other people, and like you said, not many use it anymore. But I feel like using it, and if you dont agree with it, great, I feel just that more important to have someone post that they dont like it than to not post at all. If your really that concious about lagg and forum bandwidth, Id think youd be more intelligent to understand, white, has lower Byte size than images full of black and darker contrasting colors. :?

Its not suppose to be an example of artistic ability at all, just used to show stats.
