  1. I would also add that it is not Jagexs' responsibility to look after your password in situations like this. Why should they care about protecting your password if you don't care enough to do it yourself.
  2. How stupid do you have to be to fall for that scam. I think it would actually be a good experience for the person scammed, perhaps they will learn some common sense from the experience. There are a few simple rules to not getting scammed and hacked. 1) Do not tell your password to anyone, and that means anyone, even your 'best friend'. For all you know their computer could have a virus which will give someone your password. It is just not worth the risk. 2) Get some anti virus software. 3) Never give somebody a game item without them giving you something of equal value in return. I do not see how you can go far wrong with those simple rules.
