I went from 5px to 15px brushes, I think the shadow was with a 9px
I didn't use the smudge tool

^ So...What exactly does GIMP do? :P
Like photoshop, but free, and a bit less user-friendly to some people.
-
Again, mouse+ GIMP, 1h30.

Gimp, and a mouse.
-
Much harder than I thought, oh well, I tried.
-
Now that you mention it... at first it was the upper half that was too large, I guess I overdone the fixing.

Well recently I ventured in the world of digital painting.
I don't own a tablet, so I do it with a mouse, and I use GIMP
This is my latest, it took around 1h30.
From scratch, no ref (maybe I could use some), except the costume is inspired of Nika in GW: factions.
You can also see my progress in the past 2 weeks.

I checked, your pedestrian passages (dunno the word in english) are not aligned with the sidewalks and walls.

when you are in the wilderness, you should be prepared to take a risk. that is why ' safing' is for noobs. its unfair for players who have devoted time to training to awesome stats (like high range, mage str, etc.) only to fight some noob who is scared to fall below half hits in fear of dying. pkers also face the same risk, so why not take it
.
Unfair? Is the wilderness supposed to be fair?
It's the pkers choice to not safe, it gives them the advantage of hitting more because they spend less time healing.
I don't see the point of staying below half health for the single purpose of staying within the pkers KO range.

Oh that was in ms paint?
Nice job then.
Try downloading GIMP for fun, its what I use

The sprites are a bit flat, and you don't dither correctly..
Seven kittens out of ten.
Theres no dither in there, except the shadows, but those were rushed...
-
If you blended the colors together with smudge or something, I think you could call it a digipaint.
I did the same thing as you then used the smudge tool and ended up with this

This is the start of a project.
Basically, I want to create a mockup of a side scrolling game.
Next I'll work on a background, probably gba or ds size
-
4 is my fav
1 and 2 have too many bright colors, 3 looks horrible.
-
The tutorial you used isn't good. Find a better one, it's not that hard
-
I don't mind at all if you use it
-
Lacks contrast a lot.
Some anatomy mistakes but nothing major
I can see this turning into something great :)
-
Hope you don't mind if I edited it.
You had a perspective issue there, pie looks less like floating now huh? :P
-
I've posted a WIP some time ago, here's the finished product
-
Thats not 100% pixel right?
Good looking so far
-
Oo sweet I like how you made the fire cape look like its burning.
Good job so far. Don't rush the background
-
This is horribly pillow-shaded, and your lightsource should be easy to figure out in this sig tbh :-s
Apart from that it looks good.
-
The moon looks pretty flat.
But thats great for a first

It seems you started to add details to the face before finishing your sketch.
I don't think its a good idea. I'd finish the lineart before thinking about color.
