  1. I would get the katana but I don't feel like going out and buying a 90 day membership card. Should I stick to Pest Control or train on men til 40?
  2. Sorry to double post, but thought of something else. I figured I could try Pest Control and just train Magic + Defence and use the points on Defence. I'm at 20 Defence as of now with 48 points, and once I hit 25 and can use them I wouldn't be surprised if I had 100 or more. The only problem is that at 25, 100 points would only give me 3.5K experience... which seems like nothing, seeing as I need 29K exp from 25 to 40. Should I continue down this path or is there a more efficient/faster way?
  3. Never even knew about it :| thanks though! EDIT: Somehow I quoted myself -__-
  4. Wow, never payed attention to the Combat Bracelet, makes a pretty big difference though. Thanks!
  5. Well I did a few searches on Defence Pure training, and I think I'll try out one of those methods. Gear set-up that I'll be using: Thoughts?
  6. I'm currently 2 levels away from 40 Ranged, I plan on doing Defence training with Ranged/Magic when I do them next but for now I'm just trying to get 40 Ranged and then train to 40 Defence. I probably should've done it from the beginning with Ranged, but it's too late now.
  7. I'm looking to train Defence without raising my Strength/Attack skills. I want to start with 40 but move up eventually to 60 and higher. I will eventually be training Attack/Strength but not for a long time, I'm only doing Range/Prayer/Magic/Defence for now as far as combat skills go. Any and all help is appreciated.
  8. Also, do you know of any good Runecrafting guides I could possibly use once I start to train the skill?
  9. Reading blogs like yours makes me want to get my Runecrafting up insanely high... great job man, keep it up.
  10. How do you get those Show/Hide boxes on your blog? Nice blog by the way, impressive I must say :).
  11. After I saw that you put an afro on your character, I loved it. I ran over to the hair stylist to do it myself... but it isn't available for men :(. Ahh well. Good luck, this blog has caught much of my interest!
  12. Thank you, I will put the dagger away in that case!
  13. I'm currently training Strength, I have 60 Attack/Defence and I'm trying to get to 60 Strength now. I'm at 53 currently, and have both a Dragon Dagger (p++) and a Dragon Longsword. As of now I've been using the dagger for special attacks, and the longsword for my main weapon. I was thinking to myself and was wondering if the dagger might just be the better weapon to use overall. I know the stats are a little lower but I know it's also faster than the longsword. So my question is: For training purposes, which would be better? Using the method I currently use, or just using the dagger? By better I mean which would be faster. Any and all help is appreciated.
  14. Thank you, I remember on other accounts when I would pick flax back in the day :P I'm thinking maybe I'll just wait 'til my combat stats are higher and I'll do Barrows like I used to on my other account.
  15. Thank you for the suggestions, I will look into them!
  16. I'm looking for a way to make some money so I can afford some things that I wish to get. I'm a lower level (70) currently, I've got pretty much 50+ all skills (except Farming, Summoning, Runecrafting, Construction, and Slayer), and I'm wondering what a good way to make some money would be (I'm open to all ideas). Any and all help is appreciated!
  17. What on earth do you mean by experience? Driving a Ferrari, an Impreza WRX, and an Evolution are all going to be different experiences. And just cause an Evolution or an Impreza WRX (and I hope you mean the STI model) is 1/4 the price of say a Ferrari 360 Modena or an Enzo does NOT mean you get more bang for your buck.
  18. I must say I completely agree with your post. Don't get me wrong, I love games like World of Warcraft and Anarchy Online, and I really miss playing them, but Runescape really does shine in a lot of departments where other successful MMORPG's can't.
  19. Ehhh, I need the pictures though. Looking at those would refresh my memory. I didn't follow it exactly, I had alternatives, but if I could see those pictures that would help a lot.
  20. I was wondering if anyone had the old pictures that used to be in the Tip.It Barrows Guide for the equipment setup? Back when I used to Barrow on my old account, I used mainly that setup, but when I looked at it now, there's a whole new setup, and I just want to see the old setup. If anyone has pictures of the old equipment setup that used to be in the guide, I would LOVE it if you could post them for me.
  21. My internet connection is superb, and I run Low Detail beautifully. When I ran World of Warcraft on this computer, it ran as slow as RuneScape does in HD. As most know, WoW is a hell of a lot more demanding in terms of system specifications compared to RuneScape HD.
  22. I guess you could call it lag, but basically, it runs really slow. I just checked the Intel site to make sure I was fully updated and I am, so I really have no idea what it is. even my laptop, which is a much better system, has problems running HD. Yet, whenever I play it on a different computer, such as a friends, it runs perfectly smooth.
  23. So, ever since they came out with RuneScape HD, I've loved it. Problem is, I can't run it very well on my system. My system specifications are as follows: I do believe I meet all the required specifications for HD, the only thing I don't know about is my graphics card, I can tell that it is a built in one just by looking at the name of it, and after checking for a few hours, my drivers on it are fully updated. Help?
  24. A fairly well done guide mate, I plan to use this as I want to get up to 60 Herblore. One thing I might add though, I found that to obtain Limpwurt Roots, it was easiest (in my opinion) to kill Hobgoblins (Level 28/42). They seemed to drop a relatively good amount of Limpwurts.
