Past few days I couldn't load highscores and the game takes ages to start...if it starts at all... When I do ipconfig /flushdns I get an error: The ordinal 1001 could not be located in the dynamic link library WSOCK32.dll. I'm running Win XP sp2

I planted my mith seeds and got black flowers. Thx anyways guys, but now I got members and all that stuff I specified except the legends cape :wink: BTW, I used Photoshop CS for my avatar and sig, it's a lot better for retaining good image quality when scaling down and saving images to jpg/gif :)

I'm one of those who used a scout to mine rune...it's better then getting pked by a noob team and losing 200-400K :roll: Most pkers worked around that now and rush RR...

I thought that was the case. But look at tks. She's still in the hi-scores and (unless she logs in now and again for some strange reason) she shouldn't be on those hi-scores at all. I'm sure this is the case for thousands of other inactive accounts. Iantiger No, after 6 months it just deletes your bank...

I totally agree with that, but a bigger issue is a lack of original names. Everything is taken; you have to resort to like John17689623479 or Mike98areg74, it's getting really annoying :x

As for RSFAQ, I have no idea when it'll be back up, hopefully soon. I guess you have a good point here. If I cone back later, I might regret starting all over, so I guess I'll have to rethink some things. :?

Well, this is it; I am announcing my final and permanent retirement from RS. A few reasons contributed to this. First and foremost, what really made me realize that this game is pretty much pointless is how I died afc just a few minutes ago...I lost 15K addy arrows and a green mask. Not only that, but a friend of mine also lost my full zammy when he got banned. I guess even after I got 85 mining, it just wasn't the same, and now this happens. This was basically a final blow...I see no point whatsoever to continue playing. I'd rather dedicate this time to school. Those who were there when I died at ice cave, enjoy what you managed to pick up. I'm thankful in a way that this happened to me; it made me realize what is truly important in life: education. An online game will not put food on the table. I know many of you may be thinking this is a joke, but it's not. I will post my bank soon. I might have a drop party, to make others feel better I guess. I will also log in every few months, not to play, but to keep my account from being reset. Until then, it's been great knowing you guys, I've met many great people on RS. RS taught me many things: it taught me persistance and determination to get my goals done. But it also harmed me; because of RS I saw my average drop by about 10%, an average which used to be in the 90's, and I can't believe I didn't quit sooner, but then again, it's better late then never... . Just when I was about to log off, I decided to drop some stuff. One person didn't believe me, so I took out 10K steel arrows, put up in trade screen, and he declined. I later realized that he didn't care about the money. We talked a little, a crowd of beggers formed around us, and he convinced me to periodically keep playing. This came as a surprise to me; I was convinced most people wouldn't care; they'd just take the stuff, leave, and never think about it again. So anyways, I'll stick around Tip.it, RS Community, and RSFAQ. Later guys. Time on RS: February 2004 - April 1, 2005. Goals achieved: Blue Partyhat, 85 mining, 75+ range on F2P. RSN: Evil_Eye_69 Drop party pending. :(

Not really 1. People would switch to p2p after they reached 40, or quit. Jagex doesn't care for people unless they become p2p. 2. They could have their stats be reduced to 40. 3. To stop people from afk-ing. They could just runf or them and come back. 4. WHY DON'T THEY GIVE US THE NEWEST GAMES FOR FR33!?!?!?!? It's just the fact that u need to pay to get some of the goodies. 5. U don't know who Wozza is so go away kthxbay. But I think the cap should be like 60 or something, cus 40 is a bit low. I'm not sure tho, maybe there would be a better way to stimulate f2p-ers to become p2p. Alot of people to have ways of paying but they're just too lazy. U can even freaking send the money by mail, WHO CAN'T DO THAT? There should be NO cap on F2P. I think we're limited enough with those noobish green hides and all that junk. Try comparing training with a trashy rune scimmy to drag long... And I would definitely quit rather then get members if they were really stupid enough to do that...
