  1. Definately. So many multiplayer games have firewall-type things (gunbound and maple story, for example) that prevent people from using programs that affect the game. It might be slightly annoying for that extra loading time that the firewall scans your comp, but it would be good in the long run. But I've been working on my own game, and it's a pain to program those things. It's easier to buy them from companies that use them, but that's not cheap either. They'd also have to program it to keep checking the comp for programs, since some of the real simple ones only check it at the beginning and then people can open bots after.
  2. I thought Brian Jacques got his start telling a story he made up to some sick kids in a hospital while he delivered milk or mail or something like that. I could be wrong though.
  3. I suppose that could work, if it was like a pack animal. Or you could pay a dragon a certain amount per month or something for him to guard your treasure, but it would be risky because the high-level dragons would cost more, and players could steal your stuff. We could also use an evil chicken with the above. Evil Chickens ROCK!
  4. Yeah, but they've already got their library-thingy on the main page, although that would be a ton better if people actually contributed stuff to it anymore, and if the stories were more than 3 paragraphs long.
  5. Y'know, that might actually work.
  6. Yeah, and we could get their children to play runescape then tell their parents how the autoers are ruining the game, then the FBI could contact the British Secret Service or whatever, and we could get the entire world on the problem! Mwuahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!
  7. Except we haven't had the misfortune of having to raise a hypocrite who claims to be "away from geeks" while on a Runescape forum. This suggestion is already in the game. Why didn't you think of that first? Well said, mate.
  8. I've figured it out! Nobody pays attention to his ideas so he posts more to try and get our attention, and bad grammer and no descriptions are ideas to gain attention! That's gotta be it, because there really is no other excuse. FYI, your joke is horrible since there are about 60 million variations on it and they're all funnier than that.
  9. Alrighty. You go on with your better things while we laugh at the fact that everyone else, who probably do more things in their life than you do in yours, can explain thing while a you can't elaborate more than 3 sentences. To end this flame-war, nobody really likes the idea. But everyone has an opinion, I guess.
  10. Maybe you didn't see that one right. 300 horses. With people, chatting up a storm, while moving around, plus whatever is being dropped and what they're wearing, plus all the animations for NPC's and area, plus trades. ANY computer would get lag from that. I think it wouldn't be horrible to see NPC merchants with carts with donkeys attached, but it's not realistic for players to have it. Especially the dragon part. Now, I could see someone using an entertainment skill of some sort charming a snake, then working their way up to charming a dragon for some sort of quest where you ahve to get treasure without killing the dragon, but other than that, I see no possibilities.
  11. I'll post a quest eventually, and you wont be dissapointed. I'm almost done with benefits, as well as steps. I've got about 3 in progress, but 1 is almost done.
  12. My experience has taught me that girls generally go for guys that can speak to some level of understanding, and who can actually think about something long enough to actually give details, and listen to the 4 million suggestions that tell them to get better grammer. Or maybe that's just on earth.
  13. That's not a very good excuse for bad grammer and no detail. That just means your a socialite who probably gets not-so-good grades because the teachers can't read his writing, and has thoughts but is to lazy to think about them.
  14. Except that your mom would ground you and make you study spelling. We will merely laugh at you behind your back.
  15. Entertainment! You could play music on like lutes and stuff, and npc's could throw money at you. Then you could have random events like npc's throwing rocks at you, or tomatoes, or someone transporting you to a throne room where you get points depending on how well you entertain a king or queen. But they'd have to come up with little tune-things that you learn, and you'd have certain instruments as you gain levels and such. I plan on posting a thread on this soon since I have a whole bunch more ideas for that skill. I like knitting. They could have like competitions or a mini-game or something against other people, and if you [puncture] yourself with a needle you lose points, and if the blood stains the garment you lose and get your outfit changed to shabby clothes! Ok, so the last paragraph was sarcastic. That would be....awkward. But I like the entertainment idea.
  16. So what would be the best straight magic defense?
  17. I know prayer makes really good magic defense, but what kind of armor is good for it? I currently have Mith and know that it sucks for magic defense, with hard leather body better for it but not good for melee! I was wondering what the best armor for both skills so I can get a balance.
