That sounds pretty illegal. I'd definitely bring my lunch from home anyway, and if they tell you not to, say you don't want to be obese, even if they do. Look at it this way, if it was a private institution you chose to go to, they can make up whatever silly rules they want. But when you're being forced to go to a public school by law, they can't also force you to not eat your own food.

My school actually doesn't want us to bring "outside food" into the school. :roll: Are you in a private school? I attend a public high school. I'm pretty sure they can't force you to buy lunch there. What if you couldn't afford school lunch every day? And the "don't eat" excuse definitely isn't a viable option for your school.
