  1. 25 hours in, 4 badges, team is Malamar Doublade (waiting on a few moves before evolving, I have the dusk stone ready), Vivillion, Hawlucha, and Greninja. Using Diggersby as an hm slave because he gets pickup and learns cut/strength/surf/rock smash. I've only properly ev trained doublade and vivillion so far. It's tedious so I only do 1 a day.

Also, I think this is confirmation shiny rates have been drastically increased.

  2. My Vivillion is Modern. I found an Inkay so I don't need one, however If you want a modern vivillion we can trade.

Anyone else hooked on Wonder Trades? If you don't know, you basically put a random poke in, and get a random poke from someone else. I've filled up a whole PC box of pokemon from other people, mostly garbage, but it really helps with the lottery numbers and you have a chance to get a nice/rare/version exclusive poke. I've just been dumping anything I've caught and don't want, like solrock/extra bagons/all those extra inkays/etc.

Currently EV training my honedge for 252 hp 252 atk.

  3. Took me 18 hours to get to the 2nd gym. I've heard the game speeds up after this though. I spent a lot of time doing random wonder trades and ev training my vivillion. Team thus far is Vivillion/Honedge/Hawlucha/ and I'm looking for an Inkay with contrary. The two I caught turned out to have suction cups. I might add barbacle to my team. I've kept frogadier with me but I'll probably replace him with sylveon when I can catch an eevee.

  4. PNgPGik.jpgErmahgerd it's mer ferst ever shiny

    NICE

Masuda stated shinies are now easier to obtain. It took them long enough tbh. 1/8192 natural chance to find a shiny was just ridiculous before.

  5. This is the pokedex so far: http://imgur.com/jKwFPAy

Unless there's a bunch of new evolutions for older pokes, it looks like this is about it. I believe that they brought back the 3 birds this gen instead of having a unique legendary trio. Hopefully we find a bunch more mega evolutions, I count those as new pokemon which should bolster the count a little bit more.

  6.

Here's most of the pokemon we know so far.

They've also apparently found mega stones for Heracross, Druddigon, and Galvantula, but not the pokemon they belong to.

Interesting, I saw a list of the speculated Mega Evolutions, and these were all on it. I don't remember where I saw it though.

I think they messed up on Mega Gengar, he should have been ghost fairy instead of being ghost/psychic.

  7. Looks like another mega got revealed: Mega Charizard X. As much as I like the black and blue appearance, the Fire/Dragon typing making it less weak to rock + the boosts and ability to augment physical power, I feel annoyed the two are version exclusive (granted, I do plan to get X anyway) and that makes me wonder if the other two Kanto ones will get version-exclusive Megas as well.

Oh, according to Bulbapedia's Twitter, some Canadian stores made a mistake in selling copies early a bit over a week in advance of the actual date. Oops.

Only took 6 generations to make charizard potentially competitively viable. Depends on his speed stat, though with his ability scarf could make up for it.

  8. Oh yeah, I forgot about that. I wonder what type it will be or if it will be something related to the pseudo-legendary line of its region. I guess I will be getting my answer tomorrow after I wake up. As for that image, I am rather doubtful of its legitimacy, but that may just be my skepticism.

It feels like September is going by in a blink of an eye. Kalos is kind of feeling closer on the horizon more and more by the minute.

The rumors are froakies line is water/fighting and fennekins is fire/psychic. Not sure on chespin, but grass/dark has been thrown out.

  9.

Finally finished Fallout New Vegas after making 3 different characters. I've had the game for 2 years, I'd start it up and then stop playing, come back and start a new character.

I was really bummed when the game just stops after you finish the final mission. I understand why they couldn't let you go on, but it was incredibly disappointing. I've just been going around to all the locations that I missed from a save right before the end mission.

Considering going out and buying GTA5 tomorrow, never had a GTA before so I'll see some reactions on /v/ and decide from there.

Which faction did you side with in Fallout? Just curious.

    I went with Mr House.

  11. Corocoro was leaked this morning.

The other mewtwo form was revealed, Garchomp gets a mega evolution, the starters first evolutions were shown (oh god fennekin is horrible), and a couple new pokemon were shown.

Wow fairy is immune to dragon attacks and beats dragon/dark/fighting. Only weak to steel/poison. Steel got nerfed too. Metagross/Bronzong/Jirachi are all weak to dark and ghost now

Eelektross and its pre evo's are now the only pokemon in the game without a weakness, excluding any unknown new pokemon in this generation. Sableye and Spiritomb now are weak to fairy.

  12. I am seriously hoping the Bank thing isn't the only way I can send my Gen V mons over. It's starting to become the "deal breaker" that is making me hesitate buying X/Y, because the idea of forking over money for a transfer service that should have been part of the games in the first place and my unreliable internet connection may mean I will never get to send over the Pokemon I bred.

At least Charizard finally can shine, literally.

There's a 1 month free trial for when the Bank comes out. Also, $5 a year is a pretty good deal considering you can restart your game without losing anything now.

Yeah, $5 a year is nothing for how convenient it is. You're basically just paying for basic server maintenence.

  13. Some info:

You get 2 starters, 1 from new region, and 1 of the original 3.

    Blastoise, Charizard, Venusaur confirmed megaevolutions

Pokemon Bank announced, it's a sort of website you can transfer your pokemon to that can store up to 3000.

I'm not sure, but I think I heard them mention that every pokemon would have a mega evolution.

EDIT: More information from the site. Mega Charizard gets Drought. Mega Venusaur gets Thick Fat and Mega Blastoise gets something called Mega Launcher.

  14. I don't get why MegaBlaziken gets speedboost though, it's already got that ability.

Mega Kangaskhan was revealed today, it makes the baby get older and able to fight, and gets the ability Paternal Bond which lets it attack twice.
