  1. Not quite sure why Absol and Mawile arn't just getting evolutions. Mawile's going to be a beast now. Steel/Fairy with Huge Power. It's just going to melt dragons. Lucario with adaptability is pretty damn strong too.

  2. Really first they buffed creepers, then they buffed skeletons, and then they buffed zombies. They're slowly making the game harder. I just wish instead of making it harder to start, they made the end game harder. Once you have full diamond armor, enchanted or not, nothing really poses a threat to you anymore.

Don't forget that spiders can now have random potion effects, like invisibility.

  3. And for [bleep]s sake, give Flareon Fire Blitz already.

It's base stats and abilities are terrible as well. Giving it flare blitz isn't going to solve anything. Base 65 speed is horrible for a physical sweeper.

Imagine what a Guts Flareon can do in a Trick Room.... It can also easily come in on a special attacker and start dishing it out. It won't be anything OU or even UU worthy, but it would at least get some kind of usage.

Too bad it can't use flame orb with guts, which means it has to use toxic orb and it won't be staying in very long at all.

  5. How do I mute them?

You can do /mute playername, you can mute them on the friends menu on the client, or you can mute them ingame on the scoreboard, hold tab and click the little speech bubble to the right of their row.

  6. Well I've sorted that one out.

Every time I put my architectural skills to use in Minecraft, I keep thinking how stained glass is not a thing yet. How is it not a thing?

They had stained glass in the April Fools Minecraft 2.0. I'm not sure why they haven't implemented it yet, seeing as they already made a working version.

  7. If you removed SR completely, wouldn't you throw the metagame wide open to Flying/Levitate focus sash abusers? Particularly Steel/Ground/Rock-based types who would be immune to TTar-induced SS.

Maybe hail would become much stronger in that meta. I just don't like how SR takes into account weaknesses. If it just did flat damage, it would be much more balanced. As it stands it cripples way too many pokemon.

I'd also like to see critical hits removed, but that's never going to happen. There's way too much RNG in pokemon imo. Also, team preview has been confirmed for the new gen. >.>

  8. Wouldn't removing SR just lead to Ice/Flying being as OP as Dragon was before? In fact, doubly so given Dragons now have to compete with a new counter type.

They could also introduce some decent rock moves to compensate. Most currently have shoddy accuracy or low base power.

  9. Which is why they need to make decent ice and flying Pokemon that have a secondary typing that removes the stealth rock weakness.... That or, you know, give rapid spin to Pokemon that don't suck. (Starmie is weak as hell, Forretress is deadweight, and Tentacruel is pretty decent in the rain I guess.

There is a CAP Pokemon that has an ability to avoid all damage from rock type attacks upon switch in (including rocks). Something like that would be cool.

You also have to remember that a fair few dragon Pokemon are also weak to SR. (dnite, mence, kyube just to name the OU ones)

Yeah but those pokemon have the base stats to not care about taking SR damage on switch in.

I wish gamefreak would use the mountaineer ability that was created for Syclant. http://www.smogon.com/cap/pokemon/syclant Or, just getting rid of stealth rocks would work too.

  10. Essentially, all Pokemon within the "fairy" egg group have the potential to be fairy typed. (there are lots and lots of things in that group)

They introduced them in the game to help stop dragons from being overpowered. I'm fine with this as long as the fairy type isn't immune to dragon. As far as retyping old legnedaries with the fairy type, I don't think it will happen.

Now, if GF was actually smart, they wouldn't have needed to add a new typing. Honestly, the three most powerful typings in the game are flying, ice, and dragon. The only reason that dragon is more common is that all ice and flying Pokemon suck (generally speaking). Just look at how bad Staraptor and Mamoswine are, yet they are extremely powerful threats in OU due to their stab moves. If they really want to fix the balance, they should just have made a few good ice/flying Pokemon.

I forgot all about the fairy egg group. There's some interesting pokemon in there that could become fairy types.

Also, the rock weakness is what holds back flying and ice types. Stealth rock cripples Articuno for 50% on switch in.

  11. Well, I tried this again, after my 10th ban on HON.

(HON only has the worst community in multiplayer video gaming, the game is dying because of it, and S2's only solution was to hire mods who don't do anything about the raging shitfests in chat and instead ban people that don't play at their level or some bs even when you are in casual mode or unranked midwars...)

As luck would have it, I found this fiora chick.

First, decent hero I have run across on this game.

Maybe I'll make it to level 30 or something with her and fill out my runes with attack speed. 8-)

And then find out that she's quite the weak champion and that most attack speed runes are a waste of ip.

But if you're having fun with it I guess that's all that matters.

  12. For some reason I can't help but feel that most of the new Fairy-types are still going to be useless. Like Dark and Steel types were in Gen II.

We'll have to see what fairy types are in the new gen. You're right though, currently there aren't many pokemon at all that could be decent fairy types.

I forgot about chimecho, it definitely fits the fairy theme.

I really doubt pikachu would be a fairy, it's an electric mouse after all.

  13. So after so much speculation CoroCoro has confirmed Sylveon is..... a fairy type!

Strong against dragons which is a long overdue type balancing, but weak against poison and steel, which gives those types a significant usage increase.

On the fairy note, marill has been retyped along with jigglypuff and garvadior (sp?) so expect a lot more retypings.

More information to be found on serebii.net under pokemon X & Y.

It was actually confirmed at e3 during the Nintendo Direct.

Obviously clefairy will be a fairy type now. I think togepi and mawile will be fairy types as well. I'm not sure what other existing pokemon would fit as a fairy type.

  14. A bunch of new information came out today, with the introduction of 3 new characters for the upcoming game. The Villager from Animal Crossing, Mega Man, and the Wii Fit Trainer have joined the cast of playable characters, with returning veterans Mario, Donkey Kong, Bowser, Peach, Star Fox, Pikachu, Kid Icarus, Donkey Kong, Kirby, Link, and Samus.

The official site has slots for 6 more characters, so we might see more reveals during e3 or the coming weeks.

  15. Pretty cool watching it from different sides. I'm subscribed to anderzel so I watched his side and the one you posted. I'll probably look for other perspectives later.

So who else thought some of the additions for the minecraft 2.0 joke were good? Like tinted glass, I'd also really like to see that golden apple thing where you feed it to sheep and they fly away, just because that'd be hilarious. It just said animals so maybe other animals do other things, I only saw a sheep feed a golden apple on Guude's video.

I hope they come out with tinted glass, it's a nice addition. No real reason not to bring it in, especially since they already have it in the april fools version.
