End game launch trailer. Looks pretty cool. Can't wait to play it next week. Apparently the patch added a new set of MCOMs to Damavand Peak rush.

I went straight to the stronghold of security, got my 10k, then did the Waterfall quest, got 30 atk/30 str from it, and from there just started leveling what I wanted/doing useful quests like fairy tale pt 1 and ghosts ahoy, among others.

Did you kill anything in specific for that cash, or just do slayer tasks?
I made all of my money farming tree spirits for rune hatchets/adamant hatchets. -

Yeah I'm loving my time in RS07. Unlocked fairy rings earlier today, and began training my magic. Excited to not walk around as much!

I finished the waterfall quest earlier when there were loads of people doing it with no problems at all. I've been training in the stronghold of security for most of my remaining time today. I have 30's in atk/def/str and 22 hp atm. I'll start slayer once I have decent gear and decent combat stats.
This is funny. I'm training on flesh crawlers at the moment, and in the room next to me is a bunch of level 50 zombies. Every time a level 3 runs through that room I pay attention. Half of them die. I've made like 15k so far just grabbing the money they drop. Had one guy have all his tutorial island stuff on him when he died.

Honestly, they should just have Diango hand out all the old holiday items that were around at the time, including untradeable versions of rares.

Yeah I can't say I agree with Jagex wanting to give 2007 servers updates. It defeats the point of making a 2007 server entirely if they are going to add more stuff from later on to it.

There shouldn't be any changes at all. No [bleep]ing around with updates past the backup they have.

There's a rumor going around that voting will open to free players in the last few days of the poll.
I've also seen mention of jagex adding an ingame voting option for people who play via client and don't see the frontpage that often.

I'd be willing to pay $5 for a membership to 07 scape, but [bleep] if I'm going to pay $15 for it. My own opinion is that Jagex had every intention to provide tier 3 or higher, but now that the poll has failed to produce the numbers they were expecting they will be forced to either lose out on a lot of potential profit from people who won't pay the ridiculous $15 or somehow allow more votes to be taken (ie. old subscribed accounts can now vote, or f2p accounts with x total level can vote).

Umbreon doesn't have a counter type. There is no fighting/bug eevee evolution.
But it does counter the psychic-type Espeon.
The chart sort of falls apart if you don't use that specific organization scheme.
Agreed, I never made the chart just found it browsing serebiiforums, but the jist seems to be in the order they're placed there everything has either a weakness or effectiveness all except for jolteon hence the flying or ground typing idea (even though ground type is pretty much impossible), my money is still on flying type personally. The idea of it's shiny form being released first is intriguing point though and would throw a lot of people off the scent.
Jolteon is good against vaporeon though...

Based on a chart I saw on serebiiforums it seems every eeveelution has a counter type, except for jolteon based on this reasoning people believe sylveon wil be either flying (super weak) or ground (super effective), my personal bet based on this would be flying, giving jolteon its super effectiveness in eeveelution family. Sylveon looks nothing like a ground type, but distinctly part flying with it's long flowing scarf?/hair? whatever you wish to call them.

I think Ninfia will be flying type. I've heard some speculation about this being it's shiny form in order to keep it's type secret, though. Pink hardly refers to flying type imo. All other eevolutions colors match their type.

Yes please vote for this. While you may not want to play it, many others do. It can't hurt you to vote for it.
Would people, for the love of [bleep], stop trying to pass this as an argument or a reasoning for people who are either against, or apathetic towards the idea, to vote for it?
This is not the intention of the vote. It is to GAUGE INTEREST. I AM NOT INTERESTED. OTHERS WHO AREN'T GOING TO VOTE, AREN'T INTERESTED.
It's only going to hurt you in the long run to have so many disingenuous votes.
Due to the fact that many of us who want 07 servers arn't members anymore, we have no way to voice our opinion. So while you may be indifferent, there are many of us who can't vote in the poll to show that we are interested. Now I know you are a paying member and I'm not, and that it's on your "dime" as it were for the vote. I'm not going to purchase a subscription just to vote on that poll. I'm just asking that you consider helping those of us who cannot voice our opinions.
But I can tell you that the private server community is strong, and the interest is very much there. It's just most of us can't vote.

Finally got gold rating in ranked today. ^.^ I lost my first promotion series a couple days ago but got a 3 win streak during this one.

I should try playing again. Does level have any effect on placement? I'm only level 6 or so.
You need level 30 and 16 champions before you can do ranked.

I did good in my placement games (6 wins, 4 losses) putting me at a reasonable Silver V.
But then my games started going horribly wrong. Now I have more losses than wins
As a person who mains support (and Sona at that) I guess that could be the reason I lose more often than win...
Atleast you don't have to worry about falling to bronze. ^.^

I started in silver 1, won 3 games in a row, got a paltry 26 points, lost the next game and was deducted 20 lp. I then lost 2 more games after that, putting me at 3 wins/3 losses in ranked, and I was demoted to silver 2, 50 points below where I started. I was pretty annoyed by that. But I've worked my way back up since then.

New ranked system for League of Legends has been released.
To people who play ranked, is it easier or harder to advance through the "tiers" compared to the ratings from before?
Looks like you get about the same LP as you would have gotten elo. But you now have immediate goals to strive for, getting into the next tier league, rather than broad tiers (gold/plat/diamond/etc). I like the change.
I'm first in my league atm haha. Only because no one else has played a ranked game yet.

Gen 6 confirmed, Version X and Y (Z will be the third game later on most likely). 5 Pokemon revealed, the three starters and 2 legendarys. It's a full 3D game on the 3DS, releases worldwide simultaneously October 2013.
Good stuff. Looking forward to the changes to the metagame.
