Whenever I fly Blackhawks, I fly in a circle around the base so that my gunner's can have a good shot. It seems to work out pretty well. I wish there were more levels with offensive helicopters. There's only 1 Rush and 1 Conquest map that allows you to fly an Apache/Russian Helicopter. The Hind doesn't count since the pilot can't shoot and the Blackhawk doesn't count either. UAV's are cool, but not what I want to fly. I can only hope some new maps come out with Helicopters.

The idea of appeasement was that Britain and France gave Hitler anything he wanted, within in reason, with the hope that each demand would be his last. After Prime Minister Chamberlain signed the Munich Agreement in 1938, conceding the Sudetenland region of Czechoslovakia to Nazi Germany, he returned to Britain with news that war had been averted and that the Sudetenland would be Hitler's last request. Obviously Hitler wasn't satisfied with just the Sudetenland, and later took the rest of Czechoslovakia and then Poland before Britain reacted. Now I'm not comparing Jagex to Hitler, or even saying their intentions are bad in their request, but you have to wonder when they will decide they have enough control. At first to get on the safe list you had to remove gold advertisements, which was totally reasonable (they are against the game rules), but now they also want competitor ads removed. The questions here are, is Jagex justified in demanding even more control then they had and whether this will be Jagex's last demand if we continue the historically flawed policy of appeasement. This also goes to show you that even the new and improved and "open" Jagex led by MMG can still be the money hungry tyrant it was in years past. Godwin's Law There are some interesting arguments on both sides, but I still say that Jagex is overstepping their bounds.

Attackers always get a UAV. There isn't a rush map where the attackers don't have one.

That's because the team is normally working together. If the attackers can't win, it's because there are too many snipers and not enough people heading towards the bases. The attackers should win every match.

What will the next step be though? Like Topper2145 said, will they ask us to close our Arenascape forum? How about our World of Warcraft topic, which is a very large thread down in Video Games and Consoles. Will we have to lock that thread as well if we want to keep our official status? Jagex should not have any influence on the fan sites. They should only control the game they own and their own websites.

I don't notice a difference either. I use it whenever I snipe though.

If I could "like" this post, I would. Hit the nail on the head. Tip.it has not only survived without official recognition, but prospered. I don't see why we need to bend down to Jagex in this way, especially as anyone coming to this forum already plays runescape, or has played it, so having RS ads here can't do much. I agree with both of you. All this is doing is limiting our revenue to adds that don't include any competing games. As Y_Guy said, we have prospered for years without official recognition. I find it silly that we all of a sudden feel the need to be officially recognized by Jagex, even though they ignored fan sites for years. If they are not willing to allow us to fund our site how we want, we shouldn't seek an official relationship.

Got all of the MCOM stations today. Well, not really. It glitched and gave me the achievement even though I still had 2 left on 0 Dark 30. W/e, I'm just 2 away from a 1000/1000. :thumbup:

I never really gave the SAW a chance. I remember not liking it in the demo, but I haven't really used it since then. I'll give it a shot when I start to bronze star all weapons.

I use the type 88 LMG whenever I play medic and use the MP 412 Rex as my sidearm of choice. Glad to see that I'm not using "cheap" weapons.

Random post here: Did you know that it has always annoyed me that you spelled official wrong in the title? :geek: Just thought I would finally point that out. :P

You can put the order up yourself though, so you can be in a 1 man squad and still get it. I still need the defend 4 flags pin in order to have gotten all of the pins. It'll nab me like 15000 points once I manage to get it. I'm almost through with the single player achievements. I just have a few more MCOM stations to find, then I need the knife 5 friends and 20 demolish kills and I'm done.
