So, does this mean I can have a silence day for being straight? With no incentive to offend, I don't care. You're gay, big smeg. I don't see why that gives you the right to have a stand up and be counted day like this. If you are being discriminated for it that's totally wrong, of course it is. I hardly see how this, however, would prevent it. Just because you have a different sexual preference doesn't mean you should be oppressed to express in anyway. Alas, it also doesn't give you a higher right to express like this. Just be happy for who you are. This is making a bigger issue than it already is.

I wanna be... SLEDGEHAMMER!

Nah it was all set up by nike for the ball to stop like that. :P Totally. Nike would be idiots to pass that mini piece of history up. Good on you Eldrick Tiger Woods! :P *Off-topic* Anyone ever see that Tiger Woods film? Worst.Film.Ever.

Skittles!!!! I ate 470 of them for Comic relief, and raised ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã470 :P

Sometimes a rap song comes out with a remixed beat but it's actually quite good. So good for them. Just shame shame and shame on the people like "Twista" who take the beat AND the lyrics and manipulate it into some pathetic ghetto tale. I guess that's why a lot of people respect Dre. I canne think of any songs he's produced that he's sampled a lot of another song from; barr Express yourself.

Don't be mean to kitties :( That's funny though :P hehe

Debate: How did the cosmos get to the state it is in now?

Can you two continue your little flame war in the other thread? -
Ah yes, quite. :P 'Twas whom I was mainly referring to.

Oh my word. People like this really are the scum of the Earth. They would deserve to go straight to hell had they not made me laugh at their idiocity. Only in America [/cliche]

I really hope you're dad and everyone involved are able to bounce back. The harsh reality is though, despite it's illustrious past and obvious beneficiaries to the economy, MG Rover now is a business deadweight. I really wouldn't want anyone to come in and bail them out because they risk losing their own jobs as well. Still doesn't compensate with those already working with them, I know, but I think it's the long anticipated end for it.

This post is extremely beneficiary to those wanting to know and start out. Good job, the board needed something like this :)

Debate: How did the cosmos get to the state it is in now?

Likewise, I can't even begin to comprehend how our universe/galaxy/space started, never mind try and answer the question. The mind just boggles when I even think of stuff like that, how big it really is, why the sky's blue etc. And besides, I quite like living in the knowledge that it is a complete mystery to me. We human beings don't need to know everything about us, just to appreciate, gaze and marvel over what is and what might have been. Topics like this just take the fun and wonder out of things, don't you think? -
I can't say I break dance, but I do an absolutely mean impression of Gene Kelly. Both the original Singin in the Rain dance and the new one on the Golf GTI advert :P

Thinking along those lines - that there must have been a beginning - and if a God was responsible, then I'd infer that that God must have always been existant and outside the realm of this universe, an 'all powerfull being' as some people say. The cause and effect rule has to have started from somewhere (otherwise we would never get to today) and the cause of that beginning must be exempt from this rule if it is to make any logical sense (imo at least). :) Tricky aint it? :P The first cause argument contradicts itself. If some things don't apply to the rule, why does the big bang need to? The point is is that it contradicts itself. And if the Big Bang is a scientific theory, then it has to be said that it is scientifically possible for particles to appear out of nowhere. Otherwise, it wouldn't be a scientific theory.

Damn you Matt, always beating me to the point ;) In any case, I'd like a day off but not just for the sake of things. I'll go celebrate England though either way.

I think it was Thomas Aquinas who refered to religion or God being the beginning including the Big Bang. Indeed if you had the original Big Bang, even with two single particles, how did those particles first form? And how did they get in that space? And where did that space come from? Aquinas said it was obviously God. But if you're arguing like that, then you could argue: Where did God come from? If he came from another God, where did that one come from? Again you're left with this idea of no beginning or end. Just like our friend Dave Lister  OUROBOROS!

Exactly I feel the exact same way. I mean, "Fiddy" isn't even good at rapping. "She loves me like the fat kid loves cake" - Thanks mate...stick to your day job please?

Fractured Skull, Bruised vertabrae, Eyebrow Stitches, Whiplash, Dislocated shoulders, Broken collarbone, Bicep Haemotoma, All fingers broken, Hernia, Pulled groin muscle, Torn Hamstring, Torn quadreceps, Medial ligament damage, Damaged achillees tendon, Bruised Calf, Broken Metartarsal, Broken Toe. Rugby > Discus :D

I don't really agree with the list but they're some absolute classics. Parrot Sketch, Good Aids/Bad Aids  But the Morcecambe and Wise singing in the rain, when you first watch it, is absolutely hilarious. I also though the Chandelier scene from Only Fools and Horses should have been in it.

That is just your own view though. I quite enjoyed movies which have had rappers in them. For example 8 mile and Friday and if you include Will Smith to be a rap/hip hop artist then I could go on all day with the great movies he has been in. Yeah for sure but I wouldn't call Will Smith a rapper, I'd call him an entertainer. Probably the same with Eminem and maybe DMX, but not at the same level as the Fresh Prince.
-
Bar the odd exception, you don't usually get 'good movies with rappers'. Well you do, just that their inclusion ruins that particular scene.
