I did not change any Hardware in my computer since i brought it, so everything is the factory setting my computer spec is as follows: Intel Core 2 Quad 6600 3G RAM( 2x 1G, 2x512) 720 GB HD (2x 360GB) nvidia 8500GT vista home premium 32 bit SP1 i have no additional hard drive connected

Thank you for replying, but i have already been through those sites... and they didnt help much... I have already contacted HP support, but the steps they told me was exactly what i did. But it just won't work on mine. the " Windows professional setup" screen won't come up... I have tried the disc on my laptop which runs on XP already, and it worked fine. So i guess theres something wrong with my computer.. that stop code is normally a code of hard ware or device problem according to microsoft. But HP told me my computer's hardware and drivers are totally capable of running XP... So i'm all confused now and idk where to start to solve this problem...

It's NTFS, 7200rpm, 360GB. I have 2 HDs, they r the exact same thing i installed FSX on the second one. i have FSX with acceleration, which have server pack 3 included. Oh, and another problem, i just made a new part of my HD for XP, but then it give me a blue screen when it finished checking all the drivers. When the " Welcome to windows XP setup" screen is supposed to come up, it give me a blue screen instead. It didn't say anything about where the problem is, like a normal BSOD will do, it just give me this: 0x0000007B( 0xF78D2524, Oxc0000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)

I have two questions before I can even make any kind of attempt at answering that, seeing as no one else answered it already. Can you read the drive/partition that FSX is on while you're in Windows XP? Also, can you read the OS partition for Vista itself, while in XP? :?: ~D. V. "I may be crazy, but I'm willing to help if I can." Devnull erm to answer that...i guess ill have to install XP first... The only reason im asking this is cuz i don't wanna give a part part of the HD to XP if it's not necessary, if i need to reinstall FSX, i'll probably give 50GB, if not, then most likely 15GB

erm...but how do i make FSX show up on the program list in XP?

My computer was brought around 8 months ago. It came with vista, and i'm pretty happy about it. But recently i'm having some problem with frame rates when playing Microsoft Flight Simulator X. So i decided if XP will do better. My question is, my FSX is installed on drive E, and vista is installed on drive C, and D is for HP recovery. Drive E and drive C+D are 2 different hard drives. I'm thinking of cut out another part of the drive E for XP installation. But when i install XP, can i run the game directly from XP? Or do i have to install FSX in the drive where XP is installed again? I need to know this so i will know how much space i have to cut out.. If not, is there a way to make it work? Tyvm for answering

um....the hurricane shouldnt damage my keyboard since its inside my house xD... oh...and the keyboard was inside the table when i use just the mouse, i don't pull the keyboard tray out until i type..so idk how is it stuck...

um...for some reason this happens very randomly... I tried what you said and tried reinstall firefox, but the problem still exists ( not always) it's really weird, sometimes, when i'm reading a post with some pictures in it, when the picture opens up, the text are zoomed out immediately, some times its just plain text, and when i scroll the page down with my mouse ( without any keyboard action) the page zoom out.....but sometimes this problem doesnt exist. so i'm all confused, this thing never happened to me before.

ok it's fixed by holding ctrl and mouse wheel. tried restart firefox, but same thing happens..

umm...for some random reasons today, i opened my computer today after hurricane IKE is gone and power returned, and i found some webpages are zoomed out a lot. Making the text extremely small to read... But i opened the same webpage on IE7, and nothing happened, the font size is normal. so..uh...idk what's the problem here..is there a zoom in button on firefox or anyway to fix this? Note: THIS IS NOT ALL WEBSITES, ONLY A FEW

Um...When i was installing Xp today, i was gonna create a disc partitions in the XP setup, but i accidentally hit enter which started the installation and i can't stop before i actually got a chance to create the partitions... So is there a software or a way to create partitions after i installed the OS? I really don't want to install XP all over again... the computer i installed it on is very slow, and it can take up to 2 hours to finish... ty for helping:)

Um....actually....i don't have the OS disc... We didn't buy the computer from the official dell site for a cheaper price, so the computer didn't come with a recover disc.. and When i try to install XP, the windows installer says it cannot detect any hard drive when its 100% plugged in..... and for some reason, it says it cannot find a booting device on start up..

I have a 4 years old Dell computer, which is pretty slow, but recently the hard drive broke, and since the warranty is gone long time ago, we have to get a new one... So..um... Is it possible to just buy a HD and install on the Dell pre-build computer? Cuz my friend tried before, and he said it won't work, so i'm just trying to get an firm answer... If you know, please answer. Also, if it won't work, Can someone help me building a computer that's around $500? The computer is for my mom, she doesn't play games of any sort, all she does with it is just go online, check email, and do word processing. But the current Dell one is so slow ( Intel Pentium 4 HT@ 3.0ghz, 512Ram,400GB hard drive, which broke.. and a really old ATI graphic card), so i'm looking for a build that's fast enough for word processing and web browsing. and i live in US. thank you for helpig :D

i know that hack, but i'm talking about uploading video in high quality not watching it...

This might be the wrong place to ask, but i asked on youtube's community and no one give me a response.. Anyways, I've been uploading some vids for the past 2 month, but i noticed something weird... For some of my videos, they have the High Quality feature when i upload the video, and others does not. I have the EXACT SAME settings and used the EXACT SAME software and did the EXACT SAME thing to all my videos, but some videos just won't give me the " Watch in High Quality" option for some random reason... If my videos qualified for High Quality before, it should still qualify now.... cuz the quality without the "high quality" really sucked, when it's in perfect quality when i uploaded it, i know it won't be the same, but at least the "watch in high quality" option make it closer to good quality. So anybody know what's the problem with this thing? Help pls... :pray:

I got Intel Q6600 and it's running at about 34C on the first core, and the rest 3 cores are slight cooler than the first one according to speedfan

I have received this couple times now, and the computer is HP prebuild and i have never changed hardware in it.... But this BSOD keeps coming back for some reason: A clock interrupt was not received on a secondary processor within the allocated time interval 0x00000101(0x00000031,0x00000000,0x803D1120,0x00000001) is there a program that might be causing it? This thing normally happens when the computer is not performing any task and sometimes with a program minimized open..... what might be the possible cause of this?

reinstalling the OS isnt a problem.... it's just all the files in there that's really important....Is there anyway to get the files out of there?

when my mom start up his computer today, she got this error message: Unmountable Boot Volume 0x000000ED( 0x82DC8900,0xc0000006,0x00000000,0x00000000) and she can't go into windows by safe mode or normal She told me when she is trying to turn off the computer yesterday, after windows logged off, and screen went black, but the power light is still on, after 10 mins nothing happened, so she unplugged the power from the computer....and now..this thing happened. what should i do to fix this? do i need to reinstall windows? is there anyways that i can get the files out of there since there are a lot of important ones.... ty

um...i would try that if i could.....but all my neighbor's internet are protected and the signals are exteremely low...and sorry to say it but uhh..the guide didn't really help :(

I have just brought this router today, and it's blazing fast. But theres just one problem... the wireless won't work... When i connect it with the cable directly to my computer, it works perfectly, but when i tried to connect it by wireless on my other computers, it won't connect. On my vista computer it says the signal is too low ( but the signal bar reads 95%), on my Xp laptop, it doesn't say anything...it just stuck at " waiting for network...." on the connecting screen. I have turned the wireless on for sure, and i really dunno what i have missed.... Any advise pls?
