I saw a lvl 73 with one today.

Hit level 63, I'm done with construction for the day. Level 63-70 is equal to level 1-63. -groan- Only halfway there. :P

I agree with it being ugly. Basically, it seems like it was done half assed. No story line reason for it, not attempt to make it less of an eyesore. There were a million ways of going about extra precaution against luring and I'm sorry, if you are too idiotic to not understand that you are entering the wilderness when you get a big sign that takes up most of your screen, I cannot fathom how a stupid ditch is going to do the job. Please, those of you going "Yay, no more luring" explain why you think this is going to prevent it? Because I DON'T. I have NEVER lured or scammed ANYONE as long as I have been on Runescape, I'm 100% against cheating, I think it's pointless to cheat for fake pixels at the expense of another person who's feelings are hurt because of it. But honestly, you aren't the brightest crayon if you can't avoid lures.

Lmao. Amen. If you're too idiotic to know you're in the wilderness when you get a SIGN, why the hell would a ditch make a diference, in fact, I think a sign that says "Hey buddy, you're entering the WILDERNESS." is far more effective than a ditch. <_< Lol!

That's what happened, but when I reclicked it it was a door you could only examine, it had moved. :D

I haven't been on Runescape all the time, but I finally finished making the planks: 6202/6188 OAK PLANKS! Now I just need to construct them :P Also I tried Barrows for the first time today, once I finish constructing and do Desert Trasure quest (for Kharyll portal) I think I may do a lot of barrowing for dragon bones money!

Do the rooms change or just the doors lock in different places? I thought that the rooms were moving, because when I clicked a door a puzzle popped up, I clicked again and I couldn't get it. I also got stuck in a room with 4 locked doors at one point. <_< At the time I assumed the room itself had moved, but now that I think about it, maybe it just was locked, and I should have waited for it to unlock. #-o

Okay, I just did Barrows for the first time, even got Karil in the tunnel - worst case scenario, and it was no problem. Killing the brothers is not an issue for me. But, after killing Karil I ran around for AGES. The doors kept changing, etc, I finally got a puzzle and before I could reclick it and solve it was gone, so I ran around for like 10 more minutes. Anyway, I know the tunnels are supposed to be confusing, but are there any tricks or tips to avoid wasting time running around lost?

It is ugly. That's part of what annoys me about it <_<.

God that sucks. Abyss crafting isn't bad enough, now we have a ditch. How stupid do you have to be to accidently go into the wildy anyway, there was a big freaking sign <_<

By the way, I'm a lvl 92, and i'm going for the first time tomorrow with my friend Kara, who is a lvl 98 and has also never been. So yeah, dunno what to expect really, but my friend Adam claims it's easy <_< (He's a lvl 93)

What did you do? What level were you, and did you have any problems? I'm just wondering what people's first time was like.

Thank you :) I read you blog, yours are amazing. 2234/6188 planks made. I didn't do much today, needed a break. I did earn 2 mage levels (now 73) in the Training Arena while working for the Bones to Peaches Spell though, so I suppose that makes up for being lazy :D

Thanks guys for the comments. I have a lot of ways, merchanting I DO but I don't go out looking for stuff, if someone is selling cheap in the bank, I buy it. I'm not a hardcore merchant. I bought and spun 25k flax once, for crafting xp, flax is a good way no matter what level, I can browse the forums while a load spins, it's 100% profit (buy for 100 each, sell for 200 each) and it's good steady crafting xp. I manage Miscellania - HARDCORE. I wish I could do it more than once a day. fletching and alching yew longs, making potions, playing Pest Control (I AM NOT A PC combat trainer, I get herb packs with my points). I have never had more than 5 million. But I keep most of my stuff and train it myself, instead of selling it so I guess it balances out if if it doesn't show up in my bank.

The lvl 101 from lost city is easy, there are safe spots to the right when you walk in. You can take runes and mage. I was a lvl 40-50 something when I did that quest i think.

I never had a 99 goal until now, my goal was mostly getting ALL skills above 50...hit it, then 60, and now that I only have 3 left I have decided to go for 99 Prayer. It'll take awhile, considering it will cost roughly 75-80 million to buy dbones, although I plan to slay dragons for them as well. (First I'm getting contruction, to build a guilded altar) I'd like to get slayer to 99, because It's the cape I see the least often.
