I have been successfully scammed twice. Once, I was still quite new, I was buying 300 D Bones (When they were considered cheap at 2k each). Offered my 600k, checked the bones, and it was good, but sometimes in World 2, I get bad lag from the overloaded server, and I was lagging horribly. I hit accept, and it didn't work, so I hit it like 3 times and never saw the second screen. He had switched for Big Bones. I lost over 500k, which was a LOT for me back then. ------------ The second time was much worse, and man, I was so mad because I was NOT a noob, and I felt like such an idiot. I was considering buying my first whip, and I noticed a guy buying one for 2.2m. I was like wow, I could buy one and make a profit before getting one to keep. So I bought one for 1.8m and traded the guy. He offers a warrior ring, which, I was not familliar with at the time, but I knew the zerker ring was like 2m. Still I declined, I don't trade for items I don't know the worth of, and I didn't want to waste my time merchanting. Until I saw someone in the bank, buying a warriors ring for 2.3m. So I was like, okay. I traded him and went to trade the ring buyer, he declines. I then realized it was a two person scam, and I reported the one I traded. I lost 1.4 million. At that time, It was a huge blow for me, all I had. ------------ Other Scams I have seen but not fallen for? F2P'ers who sell or buy rune, love to take away their offer and try and give you nothing before the second screen, such a noob scam, you have to be very stupid or very careless to fall for that. I have had the noted iron/noted rune switch thing happen a few times, again, if you are paying attention, it's not much of a problem. I had a guy pm me to sell me 10 crystal keys, so I went to Edge bank to trade him, he was like, I'm alching and watching PK'ers. I said "Bank, or forget it buddy." He goes "What? I'm too high combat to attack you." I told him the bank wasn't that far, and I wasn't moving. He blocked me, lol. I've had people ask me to attack them in the wildy with nothing but my whip equipped. LMAO! Probably more lame attempts I can't remember. Most scammers are such noobs.

True, lol. I played PC yesterday, got like 40 points and bought a bunch of herbs. There were a whole bunch of lvl 40-70's running around looking for someone lower level so they could call them a noob. "I'm 2 combat lvls higher, noob!" Finally a lvl 117 goes "I love when noobs call noobs noob." I died laughing. It's so true.

I like being able to telly to the range/fishing guild, formerly, I would have said that. A quick way to PC would be nice, it's a pain in the butt to get to.

Mmmm...SMART players won't bother to use them. However, a lot of RS'ers aren't all that bright. My first reaction was "Yeah, not going to bother." Not everyone will feel that way, a lot of people will use them. Those people will probably attempt to jack up the prices of nats and laws, and others will follow suit and refuse to sell below whatever the majority is asking.

You know...everyone is wondering if it's possible that rune prices will DROP. I'm wondering if they might possibly rise, as player attempt to fund the use of Abyss Bracelets.

I like it. The PFC and Lletya are two of the most tranquil places in all of RS. It's nice to be able to fish without good for nothing autoers, a bunch of noobs running around looking for someone a bit lower than them to call a noob and start stupid fights with, or people running around going "fr33 stuf pl0x!" I also love cutting mages just outside of Lletya for the same reasons. No possibility of autoers, and most people act like they are older than 12.

Exactly :wink: Btw, for all you guys hating RC pk'ers. I found something that rocks them up, but is probally just as mean. I scout worlds on my level 20 account, run in and try to spec them out. :lol: So far i've gotten full mystic (x5). My friend has gotten full Ahrims and a Whip. Yea, it's prolly just as low as Rc pking. But it's fun, and I vid it. :D That's funny, lol. At least you are attacking people with the means to defend themselves. RC PKers are just scavengers.

Wait...You don't have to have your pouches with you to get them repaired? And the abyssal space where the Abby Demons are, is a totally different place, non wildy to enter.

Honestly, I think ruby jewelry sucks all around, unless you want a few iron bars. Sapphire and Emerald seems to be the most useful (Unless you could D Stones), go figure.

Note that the D stone updates are for those who finished the legends quest. Or else you need someone to recharge :-# When I saw the update and saw the number 28 at the saphire bracelet, my mind just stopped their. 28 is far to few to be worth it! If it was around 50 or so, I would cheer. But 28.. just not enough. Else I would have used it for teletabs. Now I won't. Uhm, I know? Not an issue, I did legends. And I agree about the clay bracelet.

Honestly, I am disappointed with everything but the d-stone updates. I love the new necklace and bracelet uses, I am going to make myself like 5 of each for now. The sapphire bracelet is cool, but honestly, 28 uses isn't much better than taking the time to add water yourself. The rest fail. I will continue to make emerald rings, ruby rings, and diamond amulets with my gems.

A new bank shot has been added. Now with 69 construction, and nearly 13 million gp in my bank, I set out to update my house to level 75! Total cost will tally around 8.5 million. 2 million for d bones to reach 70 prayer, and 5k to change house crest to Saradomin. I will have approximately 2 million left over when I'm finished. Meh, at least I won't be completely broke :P Guilded Altar Time! Woot!

69+ Construction I needed 8,188 oak planks, for 69 construction. I am now at 69 I can build my altar with tea and crystal saw. After the altar is built, I plan to update the rest of my house before dedicating my money to prayer training. UPDATE 4/27/07: GOAL COMPLETED! 8188/8188 Planks

Who cares, we have hot air balloons remember. But if it tellied you to ALL guilds, that would be useful.

I am generally really nice to lower levels, but some of them take advantage of that and hound you forever after, so I block them. For instance, wanting you to trade high level potions for their low level potions. And I don't know how many time someone I don't know has messaged me out of the blue, and within an half an hour they are asking me for free stuff or money, or they come on the next day going, omg I got hacked! Can you give me money? I'm not poor, but I'm not super rich either, sorry, I don't work my butt off to hand my money to people I don't even know. I have done stuff like made armor and weapons for low level player, and shown them the flax field, explained what to do to make money, etc, but if people just start begging, I block them. This is not because I feel suprerior by the way. It's because I play for fun, and if you can't work and make your own way, then you shouldn't play. As far as the way people treat each other, I find the rudeness and superiority kind of sad, the people who come on runescape and try to act better than everyone else, strike me as people who have low self esteem in real life. It's just a game. It's fun, but nothing you ever accomplish carries over in real life, it doesn't make you important. Although people do develop a lot of persistance and patience through gameplay sometimes, and that IS something to be proud of.

I think sharks will go back up in price when the autoers move on to something new.

I play PC sometimes, but I have never used points for xp, I always buy herb packs. I've NEVER used a canon. I do high alch occassionally, but I don't do it for xp, I do it when I fletch.

Eh... :| . Me, I've got nothing against capes, what I hate is the idea of people getting capes just for the glory of it. Meager "glory" in a a compute game. I mean, it's pathetic. Play for fun, not pixels :-$ . I agree, when they first came out, I made up my mind not to try for one. Granted I decided differently recently, but I want 99 because it's a challenge, not because I care what other people think of them. So many people have them, it hardly matters anymore in terms of showing off. -shrugs-
