Sure it might be fun the first few days, but then it would become very clear who has the most free time.

I still use a crystal bow for the fact that it doesn't use ammo. I'm one of those people that feel the need to pick up ammo or I get the sense I'm wasting money.

Gold farmers wont necessarily be the "downfall" of RS as long as Jagex continues to ban those accounts. If they suddenly stop banning every rule breaking account then the game would run in to the ground very quickly. It's up to Jagex to solve the problem, all we can do is slow it down.

Let me start out by saying that f2p shouldn't get any more updates, if they get one, they will ask for more, plus its f2p, as in FREE. However, if they did add a new skill into f2p I think farming would be an excellent choice. Implementing it would be fairly easy, just modify the drop list of certain creatures slightly to drop seeds. The skill would be limited to allotments, redberries and cadava berry bushes, and flowers. This could allow f2p to gather items like watermelons and strawberries,(ingredients in summer pies) and make gathering limps a little easier. AS for the "Members will quite because f2p has more stuff", that might be true for the first week, and then everyone will realize that f2p still sucks and get membership back.

What a lot of people don't understand is that when a member macro gets banned the owner now has to pay another $5 and spend the time getting the new account back up to "money making potential". So by banning member macros Jagex would actually make money and slow down the autoer at the same time.

Technically flag holding isn't cheating becaused it is still allowed after all the time CW has been around. I think it needs some work though, like the fact that the flag can be held just on the other side of the castle doors and locating the flag need to be easier to help find those cowardly hiders. Hiding is not a tactic, its cowardly, the same way a low lvl hides for what ever reason. The most annoying part about flag holding is when they use the tunnel ladders to stay out of danger. And yes there are ways to solve this, such as cades, but that doesn't help if some moron sets up 10 cades for the sake of being a nuisance.

If Jagex allowed you to buy RS money then what would be the point in making your own money other then the self gratification of doing so? Other players wouldn't be able to tell where the money came from and I think it would crash the economy by allowing more money into the economy.

I think I would run out of things to do before the year was up, so maybe an update once a month would work, but not for a year, then I would probly quit after 2 months of nothing new to do.

If they reset the servers I'd have to quit and get a real life (scary, I know) 3-4 years of work gone down the drain. :ohnoes:

Really you could have just said the odds were something like 1/2000. Maybe saved some trouble. Anyway I bet I'm one of those people that will have the really bad odds. O well.

I guess thats what happens when you don't pay attention in school. :wall: (I'm an idiot) :wall: And on a side note, at level 86 your success rate on paladins is around 49.8% without gloves of silence, while its 52.7% with gloves of silence.

On my way to 99 thieving I thought I would try and find out the success rate percentage for paladins at each level to see how much it increases if at all. But I'm having trouble figuring out the percentage. I don't think the way I'm figuring it is right so I'm asking for help. So far at level 91 I've attempted paladins 573 times and was successful 312 times and failed 261 times. Can somebody give me an equation that will give me the percentage.
