  1. Actually the shadows are correct, as the lighting is the fire blast. So that means the light would spread out in all directions and things would get darker the farther away they were, so the lighting is somewhat correct.

What do you wan't on it?
  3. Good job adding text to a screencapture, incredible skill man.
  4. Just alot of techis brushing overlayed and another render overlayed, and also some gray color dodge layers over that area, to make it brighter. Also, here's another colab by Maladrin and myself, lighting by me, render by him. http://www.deviantart.com/view/16697100/ There's the deviation. I'm really loving Ps, it's so much easier and more sharp then PSP, there's so many features.
  5. Heh, I would be willing to colab, but in a more relaxed sort of way. I'm okay at shading and I would say pretty good at linework. Here's some examples.
  6. It was actually pretty simple, I'm loving Photoshop, there's so much more you can do as opposed to PSP.
  7. Before this everything I did was in PSP8, I finally got Ps7 today! Yay!
  8. Or anywhere, for that matter.
  9. Like I said... it's more for experience.
  10. The point is more to have fun and to get some experience with web design, and just make a relaxed community.
  11. Is there just something you have against me?
  12. Bingo. Plus it sounded cool.
  13. I did the coloring and texturing of the render. Tis all, this is a WIP btw, I mostly wanted comments on his render.
  14. I didn't really do much, except some 2d. There wasn't really much to do. I'll do a version 2 of this, with brushing... but it won't look as simple.
  15. Render- Maladrin Everything else- Me
  16. Any comments on the idea?
  17. Well.. Maladrin and I have begun work on a sort of art community/graphics site. We decided to call it epochalypse (yes typo is on purpose). Anyways the point of the site would be really just to have fun with our art, and see where it can take us, and maybe train new and up and coming artists to be better. We plan to open the site at the start of summer (probably around May or so). I will be paying for hosting and Mal is currently working on a very kickass layout. Basically what we need is members.. people who can help out, be a part of the community. We sort of would like Epochalypse to become almost like a family. We will do community projects, host contests, and reevaluate what art really is. There's room for everyone, whether you're a photographer, digital painter, traditional artist, or abstract worker. We accept everyone, and every form of art, even body art. The point of it would just to get alot of talented people together and do something big... just have fun and get people recognized by other people around them. Well right now, I just wanna know if maybe we have some potential members in all of you? Or maybe if someone could make a donation of some sort? It would really be helpful.
  18. It's nice, but everything seems kind of blurred together. Btw, is that half a battered gas mask the person is wearing?
  19. Pinky is just a tad short.

Try not too brush so much over the render, but rather... around it. Mostly just texture the render itself and add a smoky sort of thing around it.
  21. It's fine by me... I'd prefer if you took the pic on your own however.
  22. Pinky.. bad.
  23. Can't see the fakes, so I'll just comment on your sig. UMM I LOVE IT!!!! Did you take the pic?
