Shades of Mort'ton mini game, training smithing without my mining level going up, everything to do with dwarfs, and bringing up my Runescape finances.
  1. RuneScape Name: Shinkansen1 RuneScape Level: currently 83 Am I able to follow instructions?: I believe so... Can you type fast?: I have to look at the keyboard when typing, otherwise it takes about a minute per word... Time Zone (Preferrabley around +10 GMT): Pacific (Seattle), I don't know what the GMT is there. Are You A Member?: yes More about myself: I've never done anything like this before. Usually I play RuneScape solo, but I do have several friends on my contact list. I'm interested in being in this video, but unfortunately I am a Saradomin follower, and I loathe the wilderness.
  2. I think one of my favorite towns is being forgotten. What ever happened to Meiyerditch? Other things missing include: *Witchaven and castle of Drakan *the mini-game symbol for "Pyramid Plunder" *Lumbridge swamp updated: Father Urhney's house is now between the starting point for "Lost City" and the entrance to the slayer dungeon; the agility shortcut from the graveyard to the mine has been removed so that everyone can run through here; the CM&A mine has been moved to south-western shore located west of the dungeon entrance, while a "mining training" mine has taken its place with nothing but tin and copper ores *fishing platform has been updated, graphics maybe? *an extra dock is missing in Port Sarim, Catherby, Brimhaven, Tyras Camp, Port Phasmatys, and a few other places BTW, those are only the things that I noticed on this map. I also noticed that the Warrior's Guild was missing on several maps.
  3. Would anyone be willing to help me train my slayer, prayer, and farming levels high enough to start "Rum Deal"? The first thing I need is guidance to the entrance to the kalphite cave, so that I can kill 110 kalphite workers as a slayer assignment. Would it be wise to wear armour in the desert while fighting the kalphites to reduce the amount of damage taken? As for prayer, I'm planning on using the rest of my banked big bones at the ectofuntus, and then doing the "Shades of Mort'ton" mini game from there, though I will still need lots of willow logs to burn the Riyl shades, which are the highest level shades I can burn; and kill at the cost of 1 cooked lobster each, maybe more... And to help me with farming, fortunately I have planned ahead with this. I recently harvested 32 wildblood hops from 8 wildblood seeds and advanced a farming level from doing that. I now plan on growing and harvesting barley until I run out of barley seeds. If I don't reach 40 by then, I'll start growing strawberries for what should be excellent farming experience. So far, all I really need are: directions to kalphite cave and advice on what to wear and bring, and plenty of oak logs to help reduce amount of time needed to train these skills. I really do appreciate any help offered, and it is most likely that I will pay you around 10,000gp in exchange for your services. I really want to start "Cabin Fever" and go to Moss Le Harmless as soon as possible!
  4. Personally I think the Shades of Mort'ton mini game in world 2 would be great for not just crafting experience, but experience for combat, prayer, and firemaking, as well as making tons of gp from the treasures you collect from the chests in the dungeon north of the Mort'ton general store.
  5. I remember a few months ago that the letter "k" in my username got censored. "shin*ansen1" Told Jagex about that via complaint. Oh, yeah! I almost forgot, the letter "s" in "Icthlarin's Little Helper" gets censored as well. I have yet to tell Jagex about this.
  6. I am wondering if there are any miners who will lend me ores to smelt into bars, then smith those bars into whatever it is they desire (unless they want coins, then I can high-alch the items), then whatever it is that they wanted me to smith, they get back in return for letting me use the ores to bring up my smithing level. What I really want to do is to bring up my smithing level to 60 WITHOUT my mining level going up, as I am trying to get both skills at the same level. As you are aware (I hope), I can't smith anything higher than mithril full helmets at the moment, but that is why I am asking you guys this. It's very simple, and I believe that we can agree on it. Ores get turned over to me, I smelt and smith (and maybe high-alch) the requested item(s), then everything made from that process goes back to whomever lent me the ores. If this is not agreeable with you guys, that is understandable. But do be aware that I can't smelt iron bars because I am lacking forging rings, and I can't buy the ores that I need without spending all of my gp. Anyone who will help me with reaching my smithing goal, please say so in your post if desired. HELPERS _______________ _______________ _______________ _______________ _______________
