I was being sarcastic....those are about the dumbest quests in the game, although I realize they had a point once...

What a month January was! In the range category I went from level 64 to 71. Traded in my red d'hide for guthix range (after getting the top in a treasure trail) and bought a robin hat. This month i want to finish getting my range equipment for the year...a kharil's crossbow, and range boots. With a black mask (for slayer helm) also in the offing, I'll need about 6 million. I already have 4. something. January also saw me cross two milestones, 100 combat and total level 1600. Finished 19 slayer tasks after smoking kills, so well on my way to getting the slayer points for the helm. Last, I finnished my mage training goal for the year! Of course, there's probably plenty of training for that that's yet to be done. Ended the month: Total level 1613. Total gold: 4.1 million Goals for the month: range boots, slayer helm, kharil's bow, 80 combat, elemental workshop 2, full access to Moon spell book.

Got a little off track chasing after some clues. Had to do Mountain Daughter (what a sad quest) and Watchtower, so I'm pushing Swept Away and Fairy Tale 2 off until March. Got 8 slayer tasks done yet (for a whopping 12 points thus far) and am halfway through the 9th. Slayer Helm seems a ways off. The good news is that so far I've gone from 64 to 71 range. Upgraded from red d'hide to Guthix Blessed. With the clues (three clue scrolls garnered a Guthix Helm, Zammy Skirt, Enchanted Top and Guthix Range Top) I've picked up another 1.5 million. When I have enough points to make the Slayer Helm, I think I'm going to shop for some other things on my wish list. Also need to do some quests, Elemental Workshop 1 and 2, Lunar Diplomacy and Dream Mentor in the next 6 weeks. Oh, but the big news...I passed total level 1600 yesterday. Unfortunately I did it on a screen where I didn't get a capture, and picked up another level today so I can't just capture it. Oh, well.

Ok, rounding in to the new year. On Wednesday my total level was 1581 and I had 3.8 million in the bank. By now I've met all of the December goals EXCEPT one herblore level but if I can get the greenman's ale boost, the stronger one, I ought to be in good enough shape to get to level 57. I'd like to put out my goals for the rest of the year, ie the fire cape and beyond then do my immediate goals. Mega year goals Get Fire Cape Get trimming (most likely cooking) for skill cape Complete While Guthix Rests New Equipment Goals Melee Dragon Chain Dragon Fire Shield Slayer Helm Full Guthans Range Full Black Range Boots Robin Hat Full Kharils Mage Mind Shield 3rd age top (the coat) Moon Ring Full Moon Spell Pizazz spell book Unlock Bones to Peaches Over the next two months I'm going to try and unlock a lot of the low-hanging fruit and work on slayer to both train my combat and earn the ability to make a slayer helm. I also want to finish some unfinished business and finish Fairy Tale 2. Simply put, here are my goals for the next two months: Quests: Elemental Workshop 1 and 2 Lunar Diplomacy Dream Mentor Fairy Tale 2 Swept Away Training: Enough slayer tasks to get Slayer Helm 70 range (started at 64, now at 66)

I had a small change of heart and am going to do smoking kills instead of swept away. Next month I'm going to focus on getting the slayer helm, so it made sense. Finished the Christmas event, slayer goals, master quest and will finish Tears goal this week. I think I should get some of the training goals and the ghost sword (and all robes) this week as well.

Ok, time for a partial month update. Completed Mourning's End 2, which might just be the most annoying quest of all time. Unlike Recipe for Disaster, I got a screenie which can be found in my Wall of Fame (second post) on this thread.

Didn't quite get it done in November. Finished the achievement diary today, it killed me to get rid of my kitteh, but I welcome the new one. Also, didn't finish Mourning's End Part II. However, I did finish the Mage Arena, start and finish three quests, finish Recipe for Disaster, met all my training goals and did the Holiday event. A somewhat smaller list for this month. I also finished November with total level 1566. I no longer have any skills below 50. Got some new items as well, the "Barrows" Gloves, Guthix Cape and Guthix Staff. Had a lvl. 2 clue worth 210k, which was my best clue ever. "Big" month coming up... Training Goals Four herblore levels (up to 56) Five Total Fishing and Cooking Levels Four Trips to Tears of Guthix Complete Five Slayer Tasks Fun Goals Finish Varrock Armor 2 Complete Mourning's End 2 Get all Ghostly Robes Get Shadow Sword Complete Swept Away Christmas Event!

With the exception of next week's ToG we're done the "training tasks" for the month. Now we're on to the fun stuff. Already finished the stuff on Karamja. Now it's on to Varrock! I'll post a pick when I finish the Culinromancer. He's the last task for the month.

Ok (blush), so I don't have enough quest points to challenge the Cullinromancer. How dumb of me. In the meantime, I'm setting up goals for November. Let's see how I do. Woo! No more hunting until after I get the Fire Cape! I've also finished all the pre-req quests for RfD except Desert Treasure (which is up next!) I'll drop a note to show off my new stick when DT is done then another for the gloves after RfD

Did my training, got my ring. That was easy enough. Next up: Completing Recipe for Disaster. To do that I need to complete some other quests: Murder Mystery, Shadow of the Storm, Tourist Trap, Temple of Ikov, Troll Stronghold, Death Plateau, and Horror from the Deep. To keep my training caught up with my questing, I'm going to complete all of my hunting training (14 levels) while working my way through these quests.

Well, you can see above the Master White Knight goal and all of the training that goes with is has been completed. I was offline for a week there, but I still got it done. Need to balance out my reputation with the guards in Falador...they don't like a thief, but they love a White Knight! Next goal is a quicker one: Get the "Intermediate" Explorer Ring. I've done known of the Lummy achievement diary. But before the fun stuff I need to do some training. Since this is a combat-free goal, we'll have three small combat related goals. 1500 new feathers 1000 new swamp tar Complete Slayer Task

There's a great guide in the "general guides" section of the Tip.It main section. In short, do the quests that unlock skills, areas, and dragon weapons first :)

Hello! Based on its popularity, almost none of you remember my previous attempt at blogscape, my 99 thieving blog found here: viewtopic.php?p=5570315#5570315). Maybe it's because I never updated the thing, maybe it's because since I often play late at night I haven't met most of you. Since I'm a part time player who insists on supplying his own raw materials, leveling can be a bit slow from time to time. Eh. However, I'm going on a year long adventure that will hopefully end with me getting a fire cape, an upgrade over even the coolest of the skill capes (which I finally have). To get there, I'll do a bunch of mini-goals along the way. The next post will be my "wall of fame" where the best of the best of those goals will be broadcast. Master quests, skill limits, certain high value items will all be things that are sought after. Each "fun" goal will also have some training that has to be done before we can move on. I'm going to go get me a set next month to wear while I work on Pizazz. Are the Ghostly robes tradeable? In other words, can I get any real coin for them after I get the pizazz gear? I can't find them in the GE Database, so I'm guessing no but figure one of you can tell me.

We're celebrating another Runescape Milestone today as diefladermas has joined the rank of legends by completing the "master quest" Legend's Quest. Some pictures... It's official, the lovely lady is now a legend. Four new levels of herblore with the experience bonus...not bad... Stylin' and profilin' in the new cape.

Uneven week. I fell way short of my thieving goal, and I had almost no margin for error if I want 99 by the end of February so that's not good. I did gain levels in some other areas, but also didn't get to 45 herblore yet. In the good news, I did go up 7 levels, broken down as such. Thieving 60 to 63 Smithing 64 to 65 Runecrafting 50 to 51 Herblore 42 to 44 And, we knocked off the hero's quest, putting me one step away from the month's main goal: The Cape of Legend's Goals for this week Complete Legend's Quest! Thieving 63 to 70

Whew, what a week. I made some progress on my February goal (99 thieving) and January goal (Legend's Cape) and picked up a construction level (Tears of Guthix) The highlights Completed "Family Crest" Was it just me or was Gorgonzola or Chromosome or whatever his name was the easiest boss fight ever...I think I had more trouble with Delrith. We (Me and Diefladermas) got up to 60 in thieving. Started the week at 53. Goals for next week at this time 45 herblore Hero's Quest 67 thieving Wish me luck? D
