Question, have you completed Underground Pass Quest? If not you may not be able to get there. Also you need like 56 agility to get past some obstacles.

I've had cases where after completing a treasure trail the very first monster I killed I got another clue. At other times I've gone a week or more without a clue scroll. It appears quite random to me.

Wolfmen would be a good choice. For some reason it takes forever to kill blue dragons with a rune hally plus rangers steel them from you a lot.

Don't know why but I've only gotten 1 mime in the past 4 or 5 months. I don't know if it's related, but I've been ranging different types of monsters all of that time.

If you want to continue doing level 3 clues do the quest or stick to level 2 or 1 clues. Also some level 3 clues require you to have at least started the legends quest so you can get into the Kharazi Jungle.

I usually get about 1 a day from blue dragons. Then I went a whole week without one. Now it's back to 1 a day. Patience.

Make sure you didn't miss the pickup. I've dug and dug and dug only to see a casket or the next clue already in my inventory. Zombies attacking me may have caused this in my case.

If the coordinates are 16 43 N and 19 13 E that is the Bandits Camp in the level 22 wilderness - Through the house and outside with the rats, in the corner by the lake, as much east as possible, in the broken wall. Your sextant shows you are at 14 37 N and 19 13 E and your text shows North and South which is impossible.

Guess I'm wrong. I got one from a blue dragon last night.

I've been killing Blue Dragons for the last month or so. I had been getting at least 1 clue scroll every 100 dragons. Some times more than 1. In the past week or so I've killed at least 500 and no clue. This seems odd to me. A bug maybe? Anybody else seeing similar results?

I brought 2000 iron knives to the bronze dragons last weekend and killed about 50 before I ran out of knives. Definitely need anti-fire shield and anti-fire pots though.
