I get tons of level 3 clue scrolls from Blue Dragons. Taverly Dungeon has 3. The Ogre City dungeon has 6 of them. You'll need to do the Watchtower quest though. I've heard Green Dragons drop a lot of clues, but I don't like the hassles with the noob PKers there. I've also found Jellies to drop a lot of level 3's. As far as Ranger friendly all of these places are, but watch how someone else does it first. I got hit a 50 by a green dragon one time because I wasn't wearing an anti-fire shield.

I predict this place will be a deserted as the Burthope Games room in a week or two. You're right about as soon as you attack a monster everybody within a mile tries to steal your kill. As far as the game it definitely favor high levels. I don't have a problem with that I just won't play it. As far as these tokuls, what do you get when you kill one of these level 167s 65 tokens or so. So if the shield costs 65,000 tokens that comes out to be 1000 monsters you have to kill for a shield a little better than granite. I've got better things to. Enough of my rant. Maybe the next Mourning's End update will be better.

I don't know. Never tried it, but I wouldn't think that someone else can attack him for you. The way I take him out is to start with protect from mellee so he doesn't poison you with his dragon dagger. Once he's attacking me I back up until he stops following me. He then stops or goes back to the place he popped up from. That's when I switch to protect from magic and blast him with arrows until dead. You should also be able to mage him in the same manner. If you have to mellee I'd recommend going back to the bank and restocking with the best food you can unless you can protect from mellee for the entire battle. Every time you do a co-ordinates clue outside of the wilderness you'll have to defeat him so develop a strategy that works for you. In the wild you'll get a Zamorak wizard every time you have a coordinate clue. He's quite a bit easier being a lower combat level. I usually mellee him. Have fun.

As Kiara said "It's the Rogues' Fort in level 50 wilderness". It's against the outside of the north wall of the building. What I do is make sure I've got 100% energy and I can run there from the ardougne teleport lever. There aren't too many PKers inside the fort and you can see them coming if you keep one eye on the mini-map. Before you leave check your next clue. You don't want to come all the way back if the next one is nearby.

I hadn't had a mime for like 6 months. Last night I got one putting stuff in the bank. Random is right. Got mime top and boots even though I screwed up the first emotion. Don't know if that's a good reward.

Don't expect trimmed armor every time you complete a Treasure Trail. I average about 1 great reward for each 7 ok ones. Tip.it has a great guide for Treasure Trails here. Congrats, I've done over 100 level 3 clue scrolls, but never got a pot. Others have said they have. You've confirmed their claims.

The rate of certain random event has increased dramatically. I hadn't gotten a maze in 6 months and I've gotten 2 in the last 2 weeks. Seems to have coincided with the new random events (frogs, chickens, ...).

I give up, what's this got to do with clue scrolls!

Fire Giants definitely do not drop clue scrolls. They do drop drag meds. though. 8)

You have to kill a dog. He will drop the key you need. There are dogs at McGrubor's Wood.

No need to switch monsters. I kill a lot of Blue Dragons. Sometimes I don't get a clue for 300 dragons other times I've come back from a treasure trail and got a new clue on the 5th or 6th dragon. Seems to be totally random. Most monsters listed in the guide drop them frequently, I just haven't been getting many good rewards lately. I get about 8 bad rewards for each good one.

It you check tip.it's Treasure Trail help http://tip.it/runescape/index.php?page=treasure_trails.htm it say "dig next to the sleeping troll". I believe it is 1, 2, or 3 squares west of him.

Sounds like you did everything right. Re-read your clue. Sometimes I miss that I got the new clue especially if something is attacking me when I pick it up.

I've done this spot many times. The directions couldn't be any clearer. Do you have your watch, sextant and chart with you?

It's outside the north wall. Dig to the right of the door. You'll know the spot when a Zamorak wizard pops up. You can't tele above level 20. Level 30 with a ammy of glory. What you can do is go down into the Mage Arena bank and tele from there (if you make it there alive).

Be prepared for a Saradomin or Zamorak wizard to attack you when you dig for co-ordinate clues. See treasure trail help for more info. I believe if you have started the quest, you have to complete it. If you haven't started the quest, you can get the watch from Brother Kojo at the observatory.

I've done at least 100 level-3 clues and never gotten these. Noted Antifire Potions Noted Super Energy Potions But I guess you could. I have gotten torn pages from level 1 clues, but that was a long time ago. I definitely get quite a few torn pages from level 3s.

Level 3s include rune hatchet, pick axe, long sword and battle axe.
