Well i was playing castle wars the other day waiting for the game to start. I see 2 people using offensive language at each other and calling each other noobs. Since i like to help people i go an say "would you please watch your language?" They stop shouting at each other but then one of the 2 start to yell at me that i am a mod wannabe and that i should just "[get away]" since i don't like being spoken to that way i reported him and then moved to the other end of the waiting room. While i am waiting for the game to start a lvl 46 walk to me and ask why i bothered to stop those "noobs" that made me think was it really worth it? should i really just have leave them to argue and then have kept waiting for the game to start? An other time i was walking in around near Lumbridge castle when a lvl 27 runs to me and ask where he can get a mithril plate body i knew i had one in bank so i said "wait here" and quickly ran to my bank and get one for him. I ran back and gave him the plate body then he just walked away without even saying "thank you" so the big question comes again... did i do the right thing? should i just have told him "go make your own money and buy one"? or should i have told him how to make money for 1 and then leave it at that? There are of course some great people out there, i once asked my friend if he wanted to buy some stuff from he he said yes and we agreed to meet... the only problem was the he was getting items for a treasure trail (a mith scim and a ruby amulet) i knew once again i had most of the items in bank so i say i can make it for him if he wants "0mfg ye4h thanks!" was the answer so we agree to meet in falador where we make the trade and i he gives me a ruby for the amulet i make the amulet and then we continue to dorik's anvil where i smith him a mith scim. we make the trade and we are both happy. i wont question the last one since i know he will give me the favour back sometime. i have just read "you. do you change your passion for glory? =(" thread and i think it is the same here. do we help people for the sake of helping or to fell better then those we are helping? should we even help people or should we let them find out them self and learn the extra few things that way? can we expect people to do something for us if we do something for them? or should we just hope they do something for someone else? come with your input to the subject "Being nice... is it really worth it?" thanks for your time good input: If that's the kind of stuff you're hoping for from being nice then I think you're actually money hungry, not nice. :shame: Being nice may have some reward but don't go around trying to be nice to everyone in hopes for some cash. *This is not directed towards matthew_t_d, but rather people that think they'll get rewarded form being nice*

i have just been gone for 1 hour for exam preparation and look how many nice people have posted on my thread How ould the dark bow have been a crossbow? it was already said to fire dragon ARROWS, and crossbows can NOT fire arrows. you forgot to look at the thread here in the general forum... it has been suggested that the dark bow was/is a crossbow.

i guess this rules out the idea of people saying the dark bow is a crossbow :-# =D> :-#
