My thoughts exactly, I'm on 27 effigies atm and 91 slayer. I was going for 95 but now I don't feel like doing it as much due to the fact that I can't get more effigies - I'm not entirely fussed about a reduced drop rate, but limiting to such a small number of effigies is ridiculous

Why not just go ganodermics seeing as you have 99 slayer? did i miss something and are they no longer profitable with cannon?
-
i hope its not 24 hours, i guess you could say that the tears of guthix timer does, its just 7 times as long :L
-
oh wow thats really nice to know. sorry for sorta hijacking this but its OT, but whats this limits thing? ive heard of people leaving their kingdom untouched for like a year to see how much they could get. if there is a limit then this would be stupid
-
Yep, but you can retroactively change what items you collect. I just put my workers on whatever, and when I go to collect after a few months, I change what they are working on. Voilà! It will be as if they had been collecting that resource all along. really? so if i changed it next time i visit, i wud only get raw fish and coal stuff when i claim? ive never left my kindom for long periods of time before :L
-
wait, so according to the docs thing I should have as much as possible in raw fish and the rest in mining? if so then damn cos ive had it in herbs and maples all month :L

he is gone, can you give me the rates that you use to work out the time for 200m? if you don't want to post it then inbox it me and I won't share it, I'm just really curious

New Lure / Bug Abuse to Watch Out For
muckytears replied to Riptide Mage's topic in General Discussion
thanks for pointing this out to me, two people just tried to pull it on me in lumbridge ... so i went along with the conversation for a bit until i had enough to show that they were 'duping' items, so i reported them as they were encouraging rule breaking, exploiting a bug, and if jagex is aware of the problem they were also scamming :P wonder if anything will happen to em, one was a level 136 in full torva xD -
Do we only get one charge on each pair of boots/gloves? ie we cant recharge once its all been used up?

Bump for the first update of the year =] Started the year off with a slow start on day 1, but then on the 2nd I got to 83 dungeoneering and finally unlocked my chaotic rapier which I then went on to use a lot for the rest of the week. Got 93, 94 and 95 strength 85 and 86 slayer, and I am also very close to 96 constitution now For some reason I also went for 72 agility, and finally did 69 and 70 herblore - meaning runecrafting is my last skill to get to 70, and im about 30k short The goal is now to get 99 strength this month, which seems slow but I can't let runescape get in the way of some revision for my upcoming exams =]

Just to solve a little discussion that I had with a friend ... If someone was to camp at armoured zombies, would they be better using a Chaotic maul, rapier or longsword Thanks

oh wow i feel dumb now, i actually thought about black dragons in chicken lair, but forgot that they dropped lots in bones wealth. and yeah i do need range, i hate training it really, but i do love cannons ironically xD
-
Just through my random thoughts I was wondering if there is any monster that could be killed purely with combat and no cannons, but still provide effigy drops within the 2-3 hour range?
-
fail. is all i can say to those comments. OT: has suomi not logged off today or has he gone for that holiday I think he mentioned a few pages back? xD Also, is jakes lack of money confirmed? he might just be leading on those thoughts and then pulling off a tonne of xp within one week to try and get 1st place - don't flame me, I'm just curious if it's a definite thing that he's low on money =]

js, high alch doesn't interrupt barb fishing. unless i got really lucky cos i alched way over 10k blue d'hides there with no problem :L

Could this be counted as against the rules?
muckytears replied to muckytears's topic in Help and Advice
Just one final question I just thought aswell, do all my hotkeys need to jump the same distance? For example with mosuekeys you jump the same direction based on the speed of it, but could I for instance have one key that jumps (0,5), one that jumps (8,9) and one that jumps (18,2). Complete random examples but I hope it gets my point across -

okay I'll stick with what I've got now then =] I could never get the normal mousekeys to land directly on items in my invent before so thats another good thing about setting up my own :P -

If I wrote a script that took as input a number of key presses and was able to queue them up and then proceed to run based on those key presses, would it be considered cheating when compared to your second example? ie. Your program has a buffer that stores inputs. You spam zxcvbzxcvbzxcvbzxcvbzxcvbzxcvb into it and then run it. Is it legal? I technically made 1 input for each output, it's just delayed. That should be fine by most standards. So what about setting it to move to a specific location? or is that too far? ive not done it yet, but I could quite easily if i wanted to xD -

so if I program it so that they move the same distance the mousekeys would move thats fine? but like for example if i programmed it to go to a more specific coordinate that wouldnt be allowed? (ie if i press a key it should just jump a bit to the side, not jump to a location within the inventory?) -
So the other day I was looking into mouse/sticky keys and their use in runescape, and whilst I liked the idea, I didn't like the layout of the buttons (dont ask why, I just don't :P) Anyways, it got me thinking about using the keys in a different way, so I set up a script on a program that will move the move when I press the specified key. I know mousekeys aren't against the rules, but could this be seen as a sort of macro? Just to be clear, I would still have to press a key to move the mouse and then click, the only bit the program does for me is move the mouse the designated distance
